I had ordered a paste through Uber eats. Unfortunately I didn’t get quite what I had been expecting…. Not even close actually. I was frustrated because this was my only solid meal for the day. When I called a hostess answered and when she heard what happened gave the phone to their manager. Not only did they remake my pasta, which was absolutely amazing, they even threw in a molten lava cake and Ice cream. I’m very grateful for you guys fixing this for me last minute. This made my day so much better. Thank you!!!!

You can feel the southern hospitality! When I went here for dinner, my server June seated me quickly and she made lovely conversation with me. I ordered the half rack glazed ribs and my plate came out perfectly warm. I had to thank the server for her amazing service and left her a good tip. Lovely place, delicious food, great staff!

The worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I went in, and was not acknowledged for 30 minutes. The manager (wearing a blue polo) saw me and another woman waiting and never acknowledged us. We understand that restaurants are extremely busy on the weekends, but the staff and manager walked past us for 30 minutes. No one said, We will be right with you or anything. Then the food was cold and stale. There were several complaints there that night. I encourage others to speak up as well. I will also be making videos to post on social media on the experience here. I have lived in cumming for many years and it used to be a good place to dine. I hope management turns to is place around.

As a southern cook, I don’t take chances with my food and I am a fan of great customer service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. With that being said, I recently returned to this Applebees for dinner. When I entered I immediately noticed two things: It was cozy warm on a very cold evening and it smelled and looked clean. There was something different in the works as the entire ambiance had improved since my previous visit. Major points scored!!! We were greeted and seated immediately. We decided to start with the appetizer tray which consisted of wonton tacos, chicken quesadillas and riblets. The wonton tacos and quesadillas were flawlessly delicious. Although they come with a choice of sauces, they were totally unnecessary because the food was so well seasoned and required no enhancements. Those sauces were good though and were definitely worth a try just because. The riblets had a really good flavor but were a bit messy to eat because of the tiny bones. We really enjoyed the trio. Since, we weren’t really crazy hungry after the appetizer, we decided to order the 2 for $25 dinner option. We started with the onion rings and I ordered what I thought would be a simple little grilled cheese cheeseburger while my husband ordered the chicken alfredo. The onion rings came out as a very generous serving and definitely enough to share. The rings were hot, large and crispy with plenty of onion. Chef’s kiss. At this point I am pretty satisfied and forget that more food is coming. When that plate hit the table I was gobsmacked!! For some reason, I didn’t realize that the little sammy also came with tomato soup and fries. I just wasn’t paying attention. I went in on the fries because they were screaming my name with that skin on, hand-cut presentation. They were perfectly seasoned, hot and delicious. I stopped there and took the other items home. The next day I tried the other items. The tomato soup was rich and smooth and tasted like something coming from my own kitchen. Of course the cheeseburger was on point because why stop now with perfection, ( tip: to reheat this sandwich, place it in a skillet on med-low and give it time to both sides to give the meat and cheese time to heat up thoroughly, while keeping the bread nice and toasty. Don’t mess it up!) Yes, I will be back, but this time with the rest of the family and I am coming for those baby back ribs and more of the quesadillas and tacos. I was very surprised to know that this restaurant has late hours to midnight Mon-Thurs, to 1 am on Friday and Saturday night and 11 pm on Sunday night. Excellent customer service, timely and attentive. I believe our server’s name was Jason and he did a great job. Ten out of ten, definitely recommend!!

I haven’t been in for a while so maybe I thought it was better before. I remember fresh, flavorful food. That isn’t what I am receiving today.
The service is spot on which is great.
They no longer have broccoli so I went with green beans. Unfortunately they have the stale frozen flavor embedded in them.
So I switched to a side salad. It is extremely watered down. No flavor at all in the dressing. The drink is clearly the same watered. I wish I could add pictures here.
The steak and potatoes were delicious! Same great seasoning and consistency.

I think the day that we went to this Applebee’s bar and grill in Cumming they were short-staffed so this rating is based on the service that we received on that particular day. The waitress was super friendly and tried her best to keep the drinks refilled as the appetizer took 30 minutes to get and when it arrived it looks like they had just emptied the bottom of a bag. Fried pickles only take 10 minutes but it took 30 minutes to get to the table and when it arrived it only had 12 to 15 pickle fries and there were three of us on the flip side the entrees once ordered came out fairly quickly but we’re clearly not top quality as we come to expect from an Applebee’s chain. If the restaurant had been super busy I would have understood a wait but there were literally only 10 people in the entire restaurant with six people at the bar there was a door guy and three Waiters and apparently just one cook in the back. My daughter had to get back to school so we were in a hurry or I wouldn’t have been paying attention to the clock so much but it did take us two hours to get out of there.

With Applebee’s, it’s all about expectation. Don’t expect Michelin-rated cuisine. That being said, we ordered burgers, which was within the Applebee’s wheelhouse. They were great, the fries and mozzarella sticks were also good.

Your typical Applebee experience. The place is clean, the food is good, comes out fast, and the people are mostly nice. We’ve visited this location a few times and are pretty happy with our experience in general. They also have good drink menu and make some good drinks

Delicious food with amazingly fast delivery and beautiful presentation. The new decor is sleek and nice and makes the space look fresh. I love eating here and being surrounded by amazing service. Junibee is a great server and always does her job right.
