Ordered to go on the way back home which is an hour away, we ordered two steaks one medium well, because my wife likes well done and it would cook up on the way home. Mine was MR, when we got home her steak looked medium as if it was MR and mine was closer to rare which I am ok with and does not bother me. So I cooked her steak up a bit in the oven and found out her 8 oz sirloin is just a big piece of gristle with very little meat to it. Guess we will not return to a place I used to frequent in my younger days, SAD.

I was a party of one, and arrived at Applebees on Smokey Park Highway shortly after flying in from Atlanta at approximately 9:35 pm. I was nicely dressed, sober, and polite with the young lady who seated me. After I was seated, I was completely and rudely ignored for 22 minutes, until I got up and left at 9:57 pm. No one took my drink order, no one took my dinner order, no one even offered me a used straw. The restaurant was about half full, and there appeared to be plenty of staff on the clock. Not sure why no one wanted to serve me, or even acknowledge my existence, but in any event, after I left I went back to the airport and had a wonderful meal at Longhorn Steakhouse. And in case anyone at Applebees cares, since the service at Longhorn’s was above and beyond excellent, I left my server a $20 tip on a $39 ticket, or slightly better than 50%. But in the end, I suppose Applebees will get what they wanted after all, because I promise I will never step foot on their property ever again.

My wife and I came by on Valentine’s Day and while I understand that it’s busy, I don’t think this is acceptable. A bit overdone I could tolerate, but burning cheese to the point of char forming is borderline madness. My server was a delight and that is the only reason for the three stars

My husband and I stopped by after church before I had to go to work on his birthday, and we couldn’t have had a more wonderful experience. Our server, Holly (I think!), was delightful, well-versed, and attentive. I would vote for her for president. The manager communicated with her team in a respectful but effective way, and she was poised to help at all times. The food blew all my expectations away. AND we were seated with no wait during their Sunday rush. 20 stars out of 5! The perfect way to spend my sweetheart’s birthday afternoon:) Thank you for helping to make his day so special:)

This place use to be good. Not sure if it’s under new management but the past couple of times my to-go order has been wrong or had missing items. Always check your to-go order before you leave. Applebees you can do better.

Went for supper tonight and wished I had never went,started off good but the it went all to crap, ordered food and then we waited and waited some more probably 20 mins,food finally brought out by someone other than our waitress who was (Amber H).Watress came by finally and ask if everything was ok and we said yes except we have no silverware, she said let me go get some. I had ordered to Bourbon street steak cooked medium, after at least 10 minutes of waiting for silverware , I could pick up what was supposed to be a sizzling platter she came by and I said can we please have some silverware,again we waited and she finally came back and I said thanks but our food is cold and her reply was not I am sorry let me get the manager to help it was do you want steak sauce and walked off. Steak was tough as nails and my wife’s fish and chip was cold and not done. She brought check and took my card and scanned it and began to chose a 20% tip , I guess thinking I would not look. Sorry food and service was with a tip of $0.00. My last time eating there.

Pick up is terrible really just one person that works behind the bar is terrible. She is deff very self important working behind that bar. Good for you at least you have a job and go to work. Many don’t. You should really learn in your free time some etiquette. Losing a few lbs shouldn’t come w an attitude. Food was delivery, can’t comment on that part.

My boyfriend and I came for lunch, and we were not disappointed. We were seated quickly and our server, Betty, was very attentive and checked in on us frequently. We got the 2 for $23 and had the spinach and artichoke dip for our appetizer. The dip came out quickly and was topped with parmesan cheese. There were plenty of chips and plenty of dip. Our food came out shortly after, we hadn’t finished our appetizer when it came out which was awesome. I got the classic cheeseburger with fries, and it was juicy and flavorful. This was an awesome and refreshing experience because we have been used to long waits at chain restaurants.

Hadnt been to Applebees in about 10 years but had a gift card. Food was really good and my steak came out cooked perfectly. Love that you can pay on the device on the table, or add anything you want to your bill. We ordered dessert that way. Good waitress. Clean and friendly. Will be back!
