We do not have an Applebee’s where we live, and this is actually one of the closest locations to us. We have almost everything else, so when looking at dining options around Jacksonville, we ended up here. I signed up for their rewards program to get a free appetizer, and we did a 2 for 27 as well. So we had two appetizers and three meals total, as well as two drinks (I got water). Our server was Sierra, who was really nice. For our appetizers, we got the spinach and artichoke dip and the boneless wings in Parmesan garlic sauce. The spinach and artichoke dip was just okay… I mean, it’s something that comes in a bag, and it was pretty decent. The garlic parmesan wings were really good, and I liked the flavor a lot. For our meals, I got the Chicken Parmesan Fettuccine, and my partner got the O-M-Cheese Burger. My sister got the three-cheese chicken penne. We waited some time for our appetizers, and then it took another 15 minutes for our meals to come out. The O-M-Cheese burger was really nice looking and tasted great too, but the spicy honey mustard was too spicy for me. My partner enjoyed it quite a lot. I liked that it came with a lot of cheese, and the way it was presented made it less messy. My meal was kind of weird. The chicken was very rubbery. The fettuccine was very plain and not as saucy as I thought it would be. And the breadstick that comes with it is very stale-tasting and has no flavor. This meal was a $2 upcharge on the 2 for $25, which is kind of a disappointment. Service was just okay, a manager brought our food over and noticed we needed a refill. Overall, I had a nice time here, but I would not get that meal again.

We randomly chose to eat here tonight for fun. It was my husband’s first time eating Applebee’s. There was a 2 full meal entrées for $25 deal. We spent a little below 35 buckeroos! (We ordered a bit extra). So much better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Over $70 for the same size meal minus the flavour. The food here actually has moisture and good seasonings. Not dry and bland.

That had to have been some of the worst service I’ve ever seen. We came in well after the dinner rush so there was hardly any people in there. Our waitress had 2 tables. Took over 10 min for her to take our order for drinks. We finally got our drinks and she takes our order and she didnt write anything down. 30 minutes until we got our food and she came out with the completely wrong order for my husband. She brought out a steak and he ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken. Never came and checked on us while we had our food. When she brought him the right plate he ordered a dirty soda and she never brought it. We finished eating and just paid our bill and left. The steak was on our bill and you can see where it was discounted off and the fiesta like was there.

If you want to listen to drunken elderly ladies talk way to loud on there phone and fuss about how busy the place is, this is your go to. Also, if you want to be awkwardly stared at by the 40+ crowd that’s trying to be friends with all the younger people. This is your place! Jesi the bartender was absolutely amazing!!!! We got our food fast, it was cooked and prepared to perfection. She was super nice even with being very overwhelmed. She really helped make this experience great! As people that live over 15 hours away, we are very thankful for her helping our experience here!!!!

Jesi is the BEST bartender/server! She’s friendly and patient! She pays attention to details; such as the way a customer likes their drinks or when they need napkins. She always smiles and makes everyone feel welcome! Absolutely recommend will definitely come again!

Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant.
Had to ask bus person to get drinks after playing 5 games on tablet and no service at all. Food came, we had no silverware or napkins. Food was not very good and ended up getting sick next day. Gave leftovers to my dad and he too got sick.
Servers were huddled around table with friends.
Very disappointed use to be one of my favorite places to eat…had to drive an hour to go since the one in our area closed.

The coleslaw is not coleslaw it’s just plate decorations to take. up space. Cheaply.

I have to say when it comes to getting into a restaurant on Saturday night in Jacksonville you have no problem and I understand why!
Feb 7th we had dinner here and the bar tender was the only one who was on the floor moving with the crowd, we were missing a item from our order, not once asked how the food was and never checked back on for any reason, asked for a go plate/box and waited 20 minutes while the other servers sat around and hid,
Food was not bad but I think the staff couldn’t help but hate the job/ bartender was on point and had the floor, while the rest were in float mode with no issues at all,
Never did get that box and we just left,
This place could compete with everything else if you could actually get some good service.

SUPRISINGLY pleasant visit, for Applebee’s I was totally happy.
We had their specialty drinks. Frozen with Malibu rum. Very enjoyable with and extra shot to add. My friend ordered pretzels and I ordered the Spanish artichoke dish.
We sat at the bar and that was alright because they have places everywhere under the table to put your feet so your legs aren’t dangling if you sit in the bar, your not forced into a chair, they have high booths with a stair in front.
It’s was later on a Footbal Sunday and it was not too busy for my friend and I to visit and enjoy our meal, but if you don’t like watching the game with 50 other fans, this might be your spot.
Our appetizers and drinks came to around 40 bucks. It was a fine place to stop in and have a fruity drink and a fulfilling appetizer.

I’d like to just say that I’ve worked at multiple restaurants and have experienced it all including working at an Applebees myself and I have never been more disappointed with such an awful experience. We sat down at the bar area on a high top and we got greeted fine but we never saw our server again. We didn’t get the drinks until our meal was done and when she finally noticed us she offered to get us boxes and a discount but once again she never came back (the restaurant was empty) we ended up closing our own tab and leaving. We then decided to give this location another try by ordering carside for 6pm we called ahead gave them our name and when we arrived for the pickup it wasn’t ever even placed and we were late to our movie. We’ve been here twice and both times were awful do not recommend going here. Save your time and money and go somewhere where they actually care about their customers. Will never be going here again.
