Everyone got regular forks and spoons but when we got there we were told all they had were plastic, we were the only ones that were given this. Waitress took forever to bring my drink, I had to tell her to bring it off of the bar counter, like 20 min later, after ordering it. The boneless wings were just ok, not fresh and not like other Applebee’s. My husband’s chicken tenders were stale and had a gray tint to it and his fries were lukewarm, he didn’t end up eating it because they were gross. A long while after my husband got his food, I was still waiting on mine, I decided to just cancel the order based off the service and how the other orders came out. Luckily we didn’t get charged other than my drink. I will not be returning ever! Disgusting food and service

paid 30 including tip. this was digusting. the chicken parmesan was the worst ive ever had. food was cold. there was hoodrats everywhere. No.need to co.tinue to belabor the point. AVOID THIS PLACE WITH YOYR HARD EARNED COINS : UPDATE:: I wont be clicking anything or following up with anyone. If you really care you can credit my card back you have my authorization to give me my money back. If you need to see the digusting food i didnt eat any of it you can have it back its still right here in the trash can. One thing i wont be doing is ever wasting another millisecond thinking about this experience or waisting any time on anythkng applebees related ever again. I just will never come back, ever like it never existed.

I was at this location for 1 hour and 45 minutes waiting for basic service on a Saturday evening. There were only 2 servers on so there was a small wait. No biggie. Then the drinks took 30 mins to get ordered. By that point we knew what we wanted to order. We placed our order and then it was almost another 45 minutes before the food arrived. I am sitting in the restaurant right now waiting for our checks. My daughter just got a refill on her drink after it being empty for almost 30 minutes. I will never be back here. The only redeeming quality was the food was good. I got here at 4 pm it’s now 548. Still waiting on the check and I have places to be….

Drink was good, atmosphere and service was garbage. Worst Applebee’s I’ve ever been to. Food was good, hot and flavorful, our boneless wings were warm and not hot. Service was horrible. We were seated as soon as we entered the building, but then waited 10 minutes just for a server to take our order. Our waiter came to our table for 3 things, take our order, bring our food, and give us our check. No check ups, no seeing if we wanted refills on drinks. And the silverware was dirty. We went through 3 sets before we got a clean set. All around worst service ever. I never tip under 20% but this time I only tipped 10%. Garbage.

I previously had this location with 4 stars, however after today’s lunch, I had to take away 2 stars.
My wife and I came in around 2p for lunch, she’s in a wheelchair and the host had to put down one of the most unsafe ramps to get to an accessible table. And then removed it while we ate, so there was no way to go to the bathroom or exit in the event of an emergency.
Our reason for the visit was the Halloween drinks, however, I asked for the zombie drink as a mocktail. I was still charged the full $6 for what was basically blue juice, no brain gummy, no alcohol, and in a much smaller cup than the alcoholic version, for the same price.
Our server was ok, but seemed like she was just having an off day. No small plates with our boneless appetizer. Ranch spilled from cup onto plate and wings. (Small issue, but details are what make a great experience). No spoon with the tomato soup. Honey mustard tasted rancid. Cheeseburger grilled cheese was over advertised for a subpar mouth experience. Salad was mostly chow mein and cabbage, maybe 4 pieces of lettuce. Attached are pictures of receipt and cup size for verification.

This gave several of us diarrhea. My family and I are adamant about handwashing and we hadn’t eaten anything but cereal and protein bars, which we’ve had before so it was definitely this store that gave us diarrhea.
We went for a bday celebration. My friend kept saying we should choose another place because it’s always bad when she’s gone but the bday girl chose here. The food looked good. I didn’t take a pic or everything. It taste good and Tiara our server was efficient and friendly. The friend that said it’s always bad had her chk. Sandwich come without the toppings but they brought the ingredients but the cheese was now on it but not melted and she didn’t eat it all because she said it wasn’t good.
I called today to tell the manager it gave us diarrhea and could he make sure the staff washed their hands. He asked if I’d seen them not wash their hands which obviously I wouldn’t unless they allowed me in the kitchen. I told him either the food was bad or they didn’t wash their hands because we got diarrhea from it. He then told me they have to wash their hands…. Like.. what?!?! Just reiterated hand washing and pay attention because ppl are getting sick. That sealed the deal for me. I’ll be joining my friend and staying clear of Hampton Applebee’s. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

1st and foremost, it’s saddens me to make this review because I used to have the best memories coming here majority of my life but over the last year or so, things had gotten worse and worse. My last visit (November 20th) around 830pm was the absolute worst and I’ll never give another dime to this particular Applebee’s again. The service 1st off was despicable. Sadly, I think it was a Manager servicing us. She was brown/dark-skinned and skinny. She said her name was Nicole but the receipt showed a different name starting with a D. (Can’t remember the exact name) she was extremely rude from the very beginning. Not introducing herself until I tried to get her attention for napkins by saying “excuse me hun” and she rudely snapped her name was Nicole. Anyways, what’s crazy is she was being nice to some of the other customers smiling and all but treated my group with no respect whatsoever and we are the respectful tipping kind of people. The drinks took forever to come out because she wasn’t being attentive. We could see them just sitting and she kept walking past them. (It was not busy by the way). She kept getting our orders wrong and never apologized once. The boneless wings were so hard, I bounced them on the table to show her how hard it was and she didn’t care. My friends wings were hard and dry as well. She took them away and still charged us for them even though we couldn’t eat them. My chicken quesadilla has no chicken in at all and when i showed her, again no apology and it took over 30 mins to get a new one. She never checked on us unless we stopped her for help. And she never bothered to write anything down even though she kept forgetting to order food and drink items. We left hours later still hungry and disgusted with the overall experience. I don’t know why things seem to keep getting worse and worse with this location, but at this point it needs to just be shut down until new management takes over and makes massive improvements. Starting with the staff. Hire people who actually like servicing people. Yall used to have to sweetest staff. Maybe it’s only the night staff that are terrible like this. Daytime staff is always more pleasant but the food has been consistently disgusting for quite some time now. I hope corporate sees these reviews. I’m not the only one disappointed with our only local Applebee’s.

Why does this franchise have no consistency among its locations?! Me and my wife went to one location is Washington state, got a warm welcome and greeting from the hostess. Got seen promptly by the waiter. Visited the Hampton, Va location, the hostess didn’t care, barely got a hi how are you doing. Then as we got seated, took 10-15 minutes to get seen by someone who wasn’t a waitress for our section. We were about to walk out from the wait time alone. Then when the actual waitress from the section finally showed up. She never said hi to us. She never acknowledged us, probably because it’s her fault why we waited for so long. Food was undercooked, I hope I don’t get sick, if I do I’m coming back with my lawyer. No wonder Applebees is dying, it’s like the company doesn’t care anymore. I can do a better job, you should hire me.

Im not sure how this restaurant is still open. First red flag, we sat there for like 20 mins before some one walked over and said. We’ll im not waitstaff but I will help. She offered drinks. Waited another 15 mins she came back with water. Then another lady that looked like she just rolled out of bed and slept in her clothes came in walked up to take our order. We ordered the 2 for $25..The spinach dip had hair in it. They sent another one out. The Om burger had hair on the plate as well. The salad just looked Grimy with some dressing that looked crazy. Food served with a side of hair. The manager on duty had no idea how to handle any of this. He was a trainee.With all of the red flags we just left. Customer service is so bad here. Dirty dishes on tables all around us. Reading from the reviews im not sure how this place is still open. Maybe its time for a trip from the health dept. I dont wanna give you any stars. @Hamptondeptof health
