I was in the area for an appointment and decided to stop by Applebee’s. My first impression was wow it looks like they remodeled the entire place or Applebees in general. I haven’t been to an Applebee’s in about a year but this location looks amazing. The hostess greeted me with a big smile and our waiter was just as friendly and attentive.
I ordered the burger and it did not disappoint. The patty was juicy packed with flavor and served hot like it came straight off the grill. Overall I had a great experience!

Edit: I’m never ordering from this establishment again for pick up. The food is literally NOT freshly made. I keep getting desserts that are stale and hard OR CUT HELLA SMALL. The order is always screwed up. What is wrong with you people? Why is the service and food in the restaurant top notch but whenever I order pick up, the food is gross or old or missing????
I ordered for pick up, came home, and realized my order was wrong. I ordered my son the Cheeseburger Grilled Cheese and it came with tomato soup. I got home and the cup of soup is nearly empty. I ordered the Whole Lot of Bacon Burger, ordered EXTRA bacon and NO TOMATO OR ONION. I got 2 (TWO!!!!!!!) pieces of bacon, AND I got Tomato AND Onion. Absolutely pissed.

Update: upgraded to 3 stars because they reached out and couldn’t refund but did give gift cards so it wasn’t a total loss. They helped unlike the delivery service.
Unfortunately, we got raw chicken on our chicken sandwiches. We ordered from them tonight for delivery. I ate a good part of the sandwich before noticing it was very raw. Unfortunately the store can’t help and the delivery provider isn’t helping so we’re out $37 and likely getting food poisoning in the works.

In store purchase. Ordered hot wings and mushroom swiss burger. I ate 3 wings, great taste a little rubbery it tasted “old”. Disappointed! The burger a 10! Cooked perfect, just the right amount of cheese and mushroom! Love the fries, hot and fresh. I may try again but Im pretty particular about where I spend my money.

Ya know I love applebees more than anything it was the go to place in Jersey whenever I wanted to celebrate anything besides CEC lol. But yeah this location still delivers on the food i love so much. Only thing that could have pushed for a 5 star was a more attentive server the manager or team lead of the establishment got my refils and was taking care of me more than my server during late hours wich was very nice. But it wasn’t till that started happening my actual server came back to check on me more. But beyond that wich I thought was a bit strange experience more than delivers fantastic job Norfolk Apple’s. So lunch was salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli-everything was excellent! The frozen daiquiri initially was whack, but upon a do-over the blue shark frozen alcoholic drink was very tasty! It even had enough alcohol in it!
The seats are too low on the booth, so I chose a chair.
The server was very cheerful and energetic.It was the early daytime so there wasn’t any ‘atmosphere ‘ to speak of…overall it was okay. I will return and I do recommend this location.

I called here today, placed an order through the AI system. It gave me a total and a time. Transferred me to the location to confirm. The first person answered and didn’t see my order. Transferred me again. They made me repeat a third time then transferred a fourth time. Repeated the order a fourth time then hung up on. Called store back. Repeated the order a fifth time and she still couldn’t find it but would just put it in again. What was it again? I said never mind and went to Timeout Sports Bar and Grill. Spent less and food and service was better. How are you all still open. Y’all selectively feeding customers now?

They pick and choose when to make orders. Waited a hour for an order that said it was ready when i pulled up. Watched someone come and go while i still waited. Even crazier that it was just three items. Even if you started when i arrived should have been done considering there was only 6 people there eating. All employees sitting on their phones chilling. Will never come back what a joke.

Happy Halloween! And we got Travis again! I swear he’s the best!!! I won’t mention that the 3 hosts couldn’t decide where to put us so they wanted to squeeze us between two other groups like nope I suggested right behind their area I know it’s louder but it not touching other ppl so star lost for that don’t make it obvious you don’t want to do something… Any way I’ll give this place a rest for a while for staff change but TRAVIS I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST ❤️
