Staff at this place rock!!! Totally on their game. Friendly, fast, courteous service. The staff works together, even the manager greets the patrons and asks how things are. You get treated very well in there. I tend to go there often because of the staff and food. I also recommend if you like bacon, the whole lotta bacon burger is awesome

We ate here last night for the first time. Very clean and modern restaurant. Ordered pretzels as an appetizer and waited almost 30 minutes to get. We eventually got them with the rest of our food. We were told from the server that the kitchen basically forgot them. The burger we were served looked like it was thrown against the wall before getting to us. Decided to send it back and not get another. We just picked at the pretzels until we got our bill and left. Manager removed the burger from the bill but very bad first experience.

Very fast service for a Saturday evening. We were seated right away. Our waitress was the sweetest. We waited no longer than 10 minutes for our food and it was delicious! Applebees prices are always reasonable too.

Got seated at the absolute worst table even though there were other tables available. Right next to the kitchen door and a row of screens where the waitress enter the orders. One half of the table is just chairs so as people were running back and forth to the kitchen you can feel them walking past. It really makes you feel like you’re in the way. Also could hear all the kitchen commotion. Food was mid and the sweet tea is very very sweet.

I spent $250 on gift cards on Black Friday 2025. For my purchase, I got 10 Holiday Bonus Cards in my email. I looked at the Bonus Cards, and right under the $10 sign was a date of March 2, 2026. I didn’t scrutinize the gift cards; I just assumed this date was correct and I downloaded them into a folder. Throughout January and February, I used 8 of the cards, and on March 2, I tried to use the remaining two cards. Tesla, the server, was rude beyond belief. She told me she couldn’t take the card for the first order because it was for $10 and my order was only $9.99 without tax. This made no sense, and I told her I had been using these cards for this same food item for a month. She continued to argue with me that she couldn’t use a $10 gift card on a $9.99 order. So, I told her to get the manager. She smirked, but she did get the manager. The manager, Christine, was not as rude, but called me a liar and told me numerous times that the cards expired on March 1. I told her the date I saw was March 2, and she just shook her head and told me again and again that it was March 1. I offered to get my computer and show her the date of March 2 on the electronic card, but she wouldn’t stay at the counter long enough for me to do that. Instead, by the time I got my laptop and took it in to show her the date, she had disappeared into the kitchen area and would not come back out. Tesla, meanwhile, was standing in the doorway looking at me and smirking. When I came home, I looked at the gift card more closely. There was a date of March 1 at the very top of the card, but there was also a date of March 2 right under the $10 sign. So, why couldn’t Christine say that there was a mistake in the cards when they were issued and that the date was supposed to be March 1 instead of calling me a liar. I have done the Black Friday bonus for the past three years. I am a regular at Applebee’s in Altoona and other Pennsylvania locations. I have given Applebee’s gift cards for Christmas and birthday gifts. The attitude of Tesla was beyond belief. She should be fired just for being stupid and rude. The manager did nothing to defuse the situation and instead made it worse by calling me a liar even though I had evidence of a March 2 date. In fact, a server at the Applebee’s in Greensburg, PA, admitted that there was an error in the cards when they were issued and that other customers had pointed this out to her. She was pleasant and joked about how these things happen. Tesla and Christine should take a page from her book. I also want to say that Christine made a big deal about how she would take the gift cards this time but that the general manager would not take them. Well, the general manager was not there or I would have shown him the date on the gift cards I was sent via email. I wonder if he knew about the error in the dates.

Very nice resteraunt with incredibly nice and helpful staff. The menu has a lot of different options to pick from. They also had a couple of specials to pick from for lunch or dinner.
The food was good, some of the boneless wings on the harder side, but still very tasty.
The staff was very helpful, kind, and attentive.
I would go back to the resteraunt again.

They were very nice but they need to not offer that O-M-Cheese burger as they have nowhere near mastered it. They put the cheese on a skillet, not a hot plate, but a skillet. Literally had to peel my bun off of the skillet because cheese continues to cook on a skillet duh. There was no cheese anymore, just black burnt plastic (what it felt like) over everything. Couldn’t even eat it. Terribly disappointed as it was the same with my boyfriends burger as well. Obviously they don’t need that on the menu. Won’t go back for awhile

The service was great. The waitress never missed a beat. The food was plentiful but pretty tasteless in my opinion. It was nice and clean there with not much noise. The trivia was fun but you can’t save you name or progress for an incentive to come back. Next time I’ll try either the ribs or a burger to see if it tastes any better. Would definitely go back but would steer clear of the Pasta and chicken if you like something with taste. The combo appetizer was good I’d get it again.

A big change after decades of being tucked into the corner of the town’s mall. The old restaurant always did feel a bit claustrophobic and sitting near the windows left you exposed to gawking shoppers. The new design and space feels more cookie cutter, seamlessly revamping the old Bob Evan’s building that died out rather quickly. We accepted the corner booth, ordered drinks and immediately were asked if we were ready to order. This behavior continued about every minute and after feeling pressured we ordered our appetizers and meals quickly. We took the intrusion as a way for the waitress to be rid of us as quickly as possible. In hindsight I think she was embarrassed by her section, which seemed to harbor every fly in town. As we binged on apps and drinks we swatted the critters away from our faces and food. Two shorter gray or blonde hairs also took up residence in our ranch cups. I get that it can be tricky to cook two steaks two separate ways for the same table but a medium rare shouldn’t come out well done ever. The manger was quick to comp for the issues and the waitress was semi-attentive but a return trip anytime soon is not in the cards.
