This humble mountain town Applebee’s managed to deliver an experience that was both unexpectedly refined and deserving of two righteous “shaka-bro” hands; two thumbs, two pinkies, both extended to the max. From the moment we slid in, the vibes were ultra chill. Elegant yet relaxed, like a perfectly waxed board pitted deep inside a tasty barrel. The ambiance found a smooth line between classic comfort and laid back charm, making it THE ideal place to rest our dogs and enjoy some hot, fresh grindage in good company.
Our waitress (shout out McKenzie) absolutely shredded. She was charming, attentive, and effortlessly welcoming; solid check ins with perfect timing that made me and the homies feel right at home. Major appresh for subbing fresh steamed broc in place of the mashed tates, a solid recommendation.
Also, please extend the highest of fives to the bartender, his presence alone elevated the front of house. The hair, absolute BUSINESS in the front, party in the back, but nothing short of legendary. Adorning his steezy melon, an illustrious mane ripples with confidence and style. It added a subtle but undeniable flair to the atmosphere, proving that gnarly style and hospitality can indeed ride the same wave.
All said, this Applebee’s delivered a smooth, satisfying ride with bodacious service and welcoming energy. Our visit had just the right amount of après-ski energy to make the whole experience a tasty send.
10/10 would most definitely drop in again.

I enjoy coming here very much. It’s obvious that the management strives make a deposit experience in every way. The service is always great as well as the food. I love the happy hours for half price appetizer. I would give it five stars however the woodwork around the bar is not cleaned regularly.

My husband and I were driving from Chicago to New York, stopped in Clarion, Pa., and had dinner at Applebees. When departing the restaurant I had inadvertently left my purse behind. The next morning we returned and were able to locate the purse thanks to the Managers!! Everything intact! Thank you so very much. Appreciate everyone’s honesty!!

Visited 4-22-25, we were one of two groups with 12+. Last time I visited this location my “fall off the bone ribs” were an overcooked, reheated too many times piece of bbq leather. Manager made me another and did not charge. Same order today, more like burnt ends than fall off the bone. Dry and hard. The bbq sauce was actually black and tasted scorched. It took over an hour for entrees to make it to the table. All arrived at the same time so I’m assuming some were under a warmer for too long. Chicken sausage penne was dry and like jerky. Battered fish was very bland. That was just our end of the group. The waitress was a total sweetheart, very attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately she had to serve that crap. Manager was in the background but never attempted to address the group. I wasn’t going to spoil my grandsons b-day by complaining about the food but it was bad. We’re ok with not eating at the same time, when it’s ready serve it…a good meal ruined.

We took a pretty decent day trip for dinner and we were not disappointed. Our server was fantastic and the service in general was prompt. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. Even the dessert was so good we’re talking about it still a few days later! Highly reccommend!

Average food..steak was over cooked. Bartender complains about everything every time I am there. I travel and regularly go through Clarion and stop at this Applebee’s because it is near the hotel. It is open late night which works well with my schedule

Havent been at an apple bees in a while. Was pleasantly surprised at how clean and how great the food was. I got the appitizer sample platter, and it was way more then I could eat. Great service, too.
