I ordered chicken Alfredo takeout through Grubhub the order came rather quickly but when I got it the food was cold, the chicken was dry and hard, the sauce on the pasta was very little and cold, and the breadstick tasted kinda rubbery like it was reheated. For the price I paid I expected to have a bigger portion as well the entire meal was a huge disappointment ya’ll need to do way better.

We have been going to Applebee’s in Forked River for years. We love the staff & on any given night when you arrive from the person who Greets you to the Bartender – they are upbeat and smiling. The atmosphere & the food are always on point. Nick the bartender makes our experience so enjoyable each and every time we arrived -he greets us & he automatically knows what we will drink and usually what we want to order for dinner. He is such a great asset to your establishment. He’s always upbeat and the utmost professional. He truly makes our dining experience enjoyable. A+++++

Just to be clear we were not expecting top quality food from this place obviously BUT this was the worst EVER !!! I ordered the 6oz. Top sirloin. Nothing on my plate was even warm and my knife wouldn’t even cut through the steak AT ALL. They were nice enough to take it off the bill after I showed the waitress but I wasn’t waiting another 1/2 hour or more for something else. My husband order the chick parm fettuccine and it was absolutely disgusting !!! If the food wasn’t as bad as it was I wouldn’t have bothered with any review.
So now I put it all in here. NOBODY came to put us at a table for 15 minutes and it wasn’t even busy so we sat ourselves at a booth right by the door. The waitress seemed annoyed but she got over it. And finally, reading some of the good reviews people clearly cannot see every piece of silverware we were given for 2 adults and 2 kids was DIRTY. Not a little bit either it clearly ha d dried food on them !! Completely disgusting

Whenever I come here I always sit at the bar. I’ve been lucky to catch Nick as the bartender for the majority of the visits. You will not find a better suited bartender than him. Nick is Super attentive, personable, and friendly. Definitely one of the top reasons to come back to this location!
