I am an Applebee’s Fan…but the Middletown location has consistently been a let down. While I am writing a review on a delivery, I am honestly able to say this is the last time I will ever order or recommend this location. I ordered an appetizer combo tonight…(boneless wings, mozz. sticks, and the pretzels). I am not sure why anyone would do this, but the pretzels (which are covered in heavy sea salt), were thrown in the same container as the marinated wings and mozz sticks…leaving EVERYTHING covered in salt and ruining the entire dish. I mean…common sense? Truly disappointed, and will not return.

$15 for unlimited baby back ribs, boneless wings and stuffed shrimp isn’t bad! NOTE: initial order comes with the entree (can only order 1 at a time), side of fries and coleslaw. The follow-on entree(s) will only come with the main dish and fries. Not a big deal, just need to keep ordering if you want to be really full.

Ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp (with mashed potatoes). Price was just ok, but food was good, came on a hot sizzling cast iron dish so presentation was nice! Good atmosphere with dim lighting ambiance. Kudos for dedicating 3 veteran parking spots! ❤️

We came in this past Saturday, 1.18.25 as a party of 5 and from the moment we came in were greeted by the most Amazing Host, smiling and so Courteous. We were instantly seated & our Server, Isabella, was So Friendly! & kind took our drinks & apps pretty swiftly that night. Isabella was attentive, and Cheerful around the clock and didn’t let our drinks run out! What Incredible Customer Service & Experience! I loved coming to this location wow! Also as it was getting busy Isabella still made sure throughout that we were pleased with our apps, and entrees. I’ll be DEFINITELY going back thank you so much the Best Experience out of all the Applebees I’ve been to. Thank you to the Incredible Team!!

Amazing if you’re staying at the hotel. Pretty good prices, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Conveniently located near Shaw’s so you can get your groceries done before or after. Excellent portion sizes and pretty tasty hot food. Fantastic if you don’t wanna microwave or deep fry anything at home and feel like supporting the local economy. I was personally deeply confused by what they meant when they put “Asian” on the menu which apparently translates to sugary sauces and dry chili rub, so I guess they’re going for Thai? All I know is the waiter was just as confused as I. Awesome oreo shake though! It’s also only ten mins from the naval base and downtown. Highly recommend for cheap alcohol if you don’t wanna mix or measure it yourself. Overall, a great restaurant for Middletown.

Constantly having issues with my food from it being undercooked to missing food items. I’ve spoken to m the manager and received a pep talk about how me wanting my burger remade is “driving up food costs for the kitchen” I’ve received nothing but attitude and smart remarks from her. Terrible customer service. The servers on the other hand are always helpful and friendly. Especially Mikita she’s the best.

Good service and good food. Our server Michaela (Kayla) was nice and got us food fast since we told her we were in a hurry. The food tasted the same as usual. We got the $25 lunch deal with chips cheese dip and 2 salads. This is a great deal.

Another great trip to Applebee’s today and service by Marissa. Very attentive and always does service with a smile. Had the fried cheese curds, shrimp and Parmesian Sirloin, donut dippers, regular bottle of angry orchard, angry balls with a caramel and cinnamon rim and lastly an oreo shake with a shot if khalua. Large lunch but absolutely delicious!! These dishes are the reason I continue coming back.

We were very disappointed with the service at this location. We’re very understanding people and would understand if the restaurant was understaffed and in a rush. However, the restaurant is absolutely dead, workers have been sitting around talking. We didn’t get even a glass of water until about 15 mins after we ordered. The food took forever, and then we ended up getting the wrong food. Once again i understand a miscommunication but we were already frustrated bc a trip to a crappy chain restaurant shouldn’t take 1hour. The manager was very rude yo us trying to imply we were being absurd for being annoyed. No one caused a scene we were just trying to get the right meal. Anyway besides that our table was a mess we were a bunch of the other ones. Dirty dishes were sitting on tables for a very long time. And all the workers were sitting around talking. I don’t understand the issue. I love to get crappy applebees but this has literally never happened to me before.

I got there at evening. Food was alright. Burger might be better. Coleslaw sucks because they put cilantro which kills the mojo in the coleslaw. Service was okay. Wait staff might have been trained better. But it’s alright. I survived.
