Stopped by and honestly… this place ruined regular bread for me. The sourdough is legit! Crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and actually has flavor. You can tell it’s made fresh and not mass produced.

We grabbed a loaf thinking it’d last a couple days and ended up picking at it the whole drive. The whole place smells amazing and everything looks good. If you’re in St. George, this is an easy stop you shouldn’t skip.

Fun and delicious place for a lunch outing. Sandwiches are made fresh and on demand by the friendly staff. They have the choice of potato salad or green salad as sides. Will definitely go back.

I loved it. We got a loaf of regular sourdough and a loaf of jalapeno cheese bread too. The regular loaf was still warm and everything. Both together were about 7 dollars. Ill be back here whenever I need a taste of sourdough again. And I’ll have to try some of the treats they have in the cabinet.

I get it, in this economy nothing is cheap. $10 for a personal size pizza is kinda crazy. I stopped by because it was open and I was in the neighborhood. Pretty good pizza. I loved the crust. I will say, none of the employees greeted me as they were too busy trauma dumping to each other. They didn’t acknowledge me until I got to the register. I’ve worked many different jobs from restaurant to hospitality and I know every manager I’ve ever worked for would be upset if their employees did not immediately acknowledge and/or greet a customer. Btw no one else was in the restaurant.

If you like sourdough Apple Valley Sourdough is the BEST place to get it. If you don’t like sourdough you WILL after trying it here. The best time to go is around 1pm if you want fresh hot loaves before they sell out. They also have flavored whipped butters, sourdough pizza dough, cheesecake bites, cookies, Carrot and German chocolate cakes and slices and ready made sandwiches for lunch. Cheap prices. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

We have been getting the classic round sourdough bread here for 4 years.
Has this place changed hands or is there a new recipe for the round classic bread.
The color is different more yellow than white.
The taste is bland like some one forgot the salt or we got someone’s special order with no salt.
Please let us know what is happening.
We order 6-8 loaves each visit. We freeze them and never have they tasted so awful.

The inside crumb is perfect and a bit chewy (as it should be). The crust is crisp, but not too thick (as it should be). It has tang, but not too much. Slice it yourself. Eat it with high quality butter. Store it in foil, not plastic. I’ve been waiting a long time for someone to make bread reminiscent of childhood trips to Fisherman’s Wharf. Thank you AVS!!!

50 mins for 4 personal sized pizzas is bonkers. Slow, menu underwhelming but pizza is good. Not coming back because service was sooo slow
