This is a newer restaurant to me, but the first time I visted I was so pleased to see refreshingly new items that I dont usually see on menus. I got the cabbage rolls and they were delicious. The waitress was so kind to my whole family and the owner came up asked how we were enjoying everything. They were both patient and relaxed and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The entire experience was so nice that I chose Appletree a few weeks later as my birthday lunch with a group of friends. We all had the same friendly staff. We stayed well beyond our “meal time” and never felt like a burden. Its a great place, enough said. Reasonable prices, friendly quick service, smiles galore… I couldn’t ask for anything more!

Waited 10+ minutes at my table for someone to at least come get a coffee order from me. In that time I saw everyone else who arrived not only get seated but get drink and food orders in. Sure it was busy but apparently not too busy for everyone who came in after me. Not the first time I’ve had this happen here, either. Meanwhile, my drink and food orders were taken within a minute or two of sitting down at a different nearby restaurant, which is always how they do it here. The inside of Apple Tree looks good but the service for me didn’t work out.

I’m from Chicago where we have a strong polish population with many restaurants serving perogies. This place knocked it out of the park. The onions were perfectly cooked. That slight brown without getting too soggy and wett. I’m a big fan of the dough for the perogie. Sometimes you only taste the filling but here at this restaurant it’s a perfect harmonious balance. I really wish I lived closer to this restaurant. The atmosphere is very friendly and happy. Also they should be charging double for the quality. Felt like I was stealing when I left.

We’re still in the area traveling. Today is the last day in Michigan for a bit. Hubby is from here. Always gets the gyro breakfast. He was not disappointed. I got the eggs and pork chops. Everything was delicious. Service and food were great. Will be back next year if in the area

This was an excellent eatery! The prices were moderate, and the atmosphere was family friendly. We enjoyed our first meal in town there!
The server was super nice, too. Saw a lot of people coming and going for takeout, too. Lots of snow and cold and it was nice to hop in and get cozy!

A great place to take the family to eat. First the restroom was clean. Secondly the pieces are reasonable seven of us ate for just under $60. The waitress Alexa was very good, the staff worked well as a team filling coffee, clearing the used plates between courses, & refilling water. Most of all the food was delicious not a dissatisfied person in the bunch. I rate them A++

Apple Tree has amazing customer service, more than one person attends to us when we’re there. The food is absolutely amazing and a great deal for the price. Everyone is polite and courteous. It’s has a great family oriented atmosphere. We always feel welcomed when we come in.

This is my first time in Lapeer, and my husband and I decided to try this place because it is super close to our hotel. We were very pleased! The staff was very friendly, the food came out very fast and it was all huge portions and delicious! Will definitely be visiting again!!

The waitstaff is so amazingly friendly! We came on July 3rd an hour before closing and the service was great. Working the holidays are never easy so that in itself was awesome. Decided to try again tonight to see if it was a fluke and it sure wasn’t. Service was just as great and dinner hit the spot. Will definitely make this part of our dinning out options. Ps the turkey dinner was yummy!
