My husband and I recently ate at Apple Barrel Restaurant in Harrisonville, Missouri, and we had such a great experience.
We started with the Cowboy Corn Nuggets, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, sweet and flavorful on the inside. They were the perfect way to kick off the meal.
My husband ordered the meatloaf with mushrooms and onions and really enjoyed it. It was hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you order comfort food.
I had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and hashbrowns, and I can honestly say they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had. They were fluffy, full of blueberries, and cooked just right. Everything on my plate was hot and fresh.
It happened to be a very busy day, and they only had one waiter working the floor. Even so, he did an excellent job keeping up with everyone. He was attentive, kept our glasses full, and maintained a great attitude the whole time. It was also nice to see customers being patient and understanding while he worked hard to take care of everyone.
The restaurant was clean, the food came out quickly, and the overall experience was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

This place is surprisingly good for being a resteraunt inside a gas station. I ordered the breakfast sirloin platter, and it honestly was pretty good. The sirloin steak was seasoned well, and cooked in the way I had requested (medium). The potatoes, eggs, and toast were good as well.

Had a Steak with my hubby on Father’s Day 2025.
It was delicious.
Big portions here. It was hard to finish it all but we did our best. No complaints.
We even got two pieces of pie on the way out the door to enjoy before bedtime- Banana Cream & Lemon Meringue. They were amazing!
Our server Michael was a really nice guy- knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and hardworking.
We asked for extra Blue Cheese Dressing for our Salads & he brought us a bowl of it for our table- he THOROUGHLY understood “the assignment”. Thank you, so much!!
It was a pleasant experience overall & we will be back!

My husband and I took our son out for brunch before a delivery. It was quiet and the server was very friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. My husband got the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage patties, which came in the most massive dish I had ever seen. He was very happy with the portion size and flavor of dish. The sausage was kind of spicy, but in the best way making it not your average sausage patty. Our son & I got French toast and bacon, which was fantastic. The french toast is huge pieces and the bacon was so delicious. Overall, it was the best choice we could have made for brunch. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is ready to eat large portions of food that you will not want to stop eating, even if you’re full.

I brought my 90 year old Mom here twice, both times the food was amazing. We have been to a lot of different places, this is by far the best ever. My mom was so cute, she took a bite of her English muffins. She said it was amazing, never ever had one this good. The rest of her meal was cooked perfect that cook deserves a raise. It’s a little bit of a drive we will be back.
There was only one waitress and it started getting busy. She handled it super good. Our service was perfect I didn’t get her name. 11-4-25 5:00PM let her know thank you.

So.e of the best breakfast you will find in the area, hands down! Had the country fried steak and eggs, steak was tender and lightly breaded perfectly. Staff was great and very attentive. Took the whole family and we will definitely be coming back.

Don’t let this small diner inside a convenience store (Sapp Bros) prevent you from trying out the food. I asked the waitress for her favorite dish. She recommended the chicken fried steak dinner & it was delicious. The chicken fried steak was hand breaded, huge, tender & tasty covered in white gravy with a side of mashed potatoes, green beans, & remarkably perfect Texas toast. My wife ordered the chicken tenders dinner with french fries and BBQ baked beans and there was plenty to split with our granddaughter. The tenders were tender & fries were crispy along with the remarkable Texas toast. The only negative is that wait staff were very busy and not able to stop off and check in for drink refreshes or dessert orders. She was very friendly & got the food out fast once ordered (thank you). Overall, a great meal for a fair price.

Not the biggest sandwich but for the price and the quality of the meat it is absolutely delicious and worth the try. Staff was super friendly, does take a little bit of a wait though.
