Food was ehh. Had a roll we couldn’t eat bc it was cold and hard. Mashed potatoes and fried chicken were really good. Fish sandwich was thin and greasy. I wouldn’t recommend it. Cannolis were great as well as the chocolate pie. I definitely recommend their deserts and will be back to try some different items of dessert but sadly not the food.

Wonderful place for breakfast. We loved the portion size. The smell if fresh baked bread and deserts add to the ambiance of the place. I was surprised at the price of the fresh loaf of bread. It was huge. I had to have it. At home, it was so wonderful warming a slice (had more then 1 🙂 and putting a pad of real butter in it. Just amazing. Wish I lived here. I would definately get it weekly for sandwiches. No preservatives and fresh bread…disappointed I cant. But when I visit wv, I can.

We were doing the Pepperoni Roll Trail (passports found at the Marion County Visitor’s Center) and it brought us to this sweet restaurant.
I will tell you this, their cookies are HUGE and delicious! We chose several to munch on. Various other desserts to choose from as well.
They have a large dine-in area to eat their homestyle menu foods. Our family weren’t really fans of the pepperoni rolls, but they make up for it with all of their other items. A local, family-owned restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Kid’s menu offered.
Eat in or take out. Catering, gourmet coffee, and freshly baked desserts.

My 78 yr old Mother was so disappointed with the food & service, that she changed her mind about getting dessert. Per Mom … “The rudest server I’ve ever met & the inch thick slabs of roast beef had “No flavor whatsoever .”
As for my “Wed Special” liver & onions? Burnt liver the size of a chicken tender, raw onions, thick, super salty brown gravy & for the ” rice pilaf”…. Think uncle Ben’s boil in bag rice, a few pieces of corn & peas & a brown color, that makes you wonder exactly why it’s brown, because it has zero seasoning or flavor. Not many ppl there, but we waited a good while for our food to come out & even longer mine to be remade. The 2nd batch was also overdone & burnt in places, but I ate what I could because we didn’t have time to go somewhere else & start over. All told, we were therean hr & a half and we both left hungry. (12:30 to 2pm) This was our 4th & final attempt at trying this establishment. Mom said McDonald’s would have been a better choice.

We stopped for our breakfast on our way from Pittsburgh to Charlotte, NC. We are planning to stop here for dinner next week when we head home. Excellent food and service. Gotta love Southern hospitality. ❤️. The baked goods look and smell delicious!! We will buy some next week. I highly recommend this place. Very convenient parking, seating, and close to Interstate 79.

Had a great breakfast here. Sausage gravy was delicious and clearly made on sight. The bakery is the big star however – pies, cupcakes, and amazing cookies. Had to take a half dozen cookies with me for my trip!

I was hungry on a cold Christmas Eve and sad. I stopped into Middletown Commons to see about a bite to eat. I had heard Apple Annies was good from a friend in Morgantown. It was close and had lots of available parking so I decided to try it out. The staff even on the bakery busy day of Christmas Eve was so nice, pleasant and helpful! The vibe is actually very homey and it was the best down home club I have had in a while knocking the socks off anywhere else that claims it. The bakery well it is so good especially the cinnamon rolls and to die for butterscotch pie!! On a cold sad Christmas Eve I felt surrounded by warmth and goodness. Thank you for the nice place, good staff and vibe! If you don’t stop here you’re missing out simply put.

The food and service were excellent, and the bakery offers an impressive selection of baked goods. We visited for breakfast and ordered four different meals, all of which were very good. The only drawback was the room temperature, which could have been a bit warmer, as seating near the front windows felt chilly.
