Very friendly service and great food. My wife and I shared the country fried steak. The gravy had lots of black pepper and was delicious. The fried zucchini was not greasy and had a good crunch to it. In side the zucchini was soft and it was addictive to eat. The brussel sprouts were the best I have tasted. My kids had a grilled cheese sandwich and it came with fries and those fries were not greasy. My other child had Mac and cheese and that was warm on a cold day.

To get me out of the house, my husband wanted to take a ride to Oak Glen for a slice of mile high pie! As always it didn’t disappoint. Delicious!!

Basically the only game in town unless you want Mexican or bar food, so hoped for the best and they delivered. Was a very busy Sunday after a weekday storm and resort roads closed, so again hoped for the best. The wait time was pretty short considering they had a line out the door. Once seated, our drink and food order was taken immediately and food delivered pretty quickly as well.

The best breakfast I’ve had in a while. If you’re lucky you get to meet Apple Annie herself. Food is unique . Great place to hangout after.

Apple Annie’s is “World Famous” for a reason. It’s treats are absolutely delicious! I had the apple pecan pie, and it’s so good – I especially like that the pecans aren’t praline/sweetened, which, in my opinion, takes away from the flavor of the apple. The apple burritos are yummy, but really flaky, so prepare to eat some crumbs after. The apple bread is phenomenal and highly recommended. You know what, just order one of everything.

This place was remodeled maybe two years ago. More modern country than backwoodsy country. Our group got three breakfasts, all including biscuits and gravy, which was so excellent on a crisp morning before a hike. Service was quick and friendly. Grab something from the bakery on your way out! 10/10 so so good.

Apple Annie’s has been around for generations, my whole family has grown up, spending the day in oak tree and treating ourselves to dinner at Apple Annie’s . They have huge portions, everything on the menu is amazing. But you definitely want to have the chicken fried steak, apple pie, and of course the chicken pot pie that’s as big as my hand!

Fun spot to grab a bite while visiting Oak Glen. The entrees were about what you would expect for a family friendly chain, but it’s worth the fun atmosphere and slice of mile-high apple pie. We went on a weekday so we didn’t have to wait too long, but I can imagine it gets incredibly busy on the weekends. I would also recommend checking out the bakery with mountainous apple pies and cookies that are bigger than your face. All in all, the surrounding petting zoo and little shops make this a fun stop for a family day trip.

having had found memories of Apple Annie’s in Tulare, I figure I’d try this place since it’s closer. it was not worth the visit. there was a long line to get seated. they didn’t tell people that it was buffet only until we’re at the register. charged full price for apple cider and gave kid’s size cup.
