We went here about 3 weeks ago on a Wednesday. Apple season is over, so there weren’t many people! Which I love because I get to see everything. We got here around 3pm. The place was very nice and clean, and our waitress was very friendly. We ordered a pastrami to share and Chili to share. It was more than enough and everything was delicious. My only regret is forgetting to order dessert lol. We were full . Enjoyed the view, the walk and just taking nature in! Looking forward to our next time, and hopefully making it there a little earlier. Definitely recommend this place!!

Every late fall, our family looks forward to enjoying apple pie together. There’s something about biting into a perfectly baked pie made from crisp, tangy apples that lifts everyone’s spirits. For years, we’ve made the pilgrimage to Julian, California, famous for its apple pies, especially around Thanksgiving. This year, however, we decided to explore Apple Annie’s at Oak Tree Mountain in Yucaipa, another destination renowned for its pies.
The drive to the restaurant was a feast for the eyes itself, with tree-lined roads awash in brilliant autumn colors. Once there, the culinary journey continued. The Pulled Pork with Apple Caramel Tots was a standout—the sweetness and tartness of the apple tots perfectly balanced the rich, savory pork, creating a combination that felt both surprising and comforting. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts disappeared almost instantly; fried to perfection, their crunch paired beautifully with a flavorful sauce that made them irresistible.
The Chicken Pot Pie was pleasant and reliable, delivering exactly what you’d expect—a comforting, homey flavor without overwhelming the palate. The Mountain BBQ Burger offered solid, familiar flavors, enjoyable without being flashy. And the Thanksgiving Day Special Turkey Plate captured the essence of a home-cooked holiday meal, complete with all the comforting notes you hope for in a festive plate.
Of course, the star of the show was the apple pie itself. While the restaurant serves it alongside meals, ordering pie separately at the bakery afterward can help avoid extra costs that come from adding it to your dining check.
Whether it’s a weekend outing or a short day trip to enjoy some crisp mountain air, Apple Annie’s is perfectly suited for a casual, family-friendly escape. Between the scenic drive, the warm atmosphere, and the thoughtfully prepared dishes, it’s a destination that delights both your senses and your heart.

I got their famous apple pie with ice cream and it was amazing. Ice cream was delicious and it paired well with the homemade pie. Pie was delicious as well. The crust was nice and crispy.
They have a wide assortment of freshly baked sweets as well. Service was great and there is plenty of seating outside to enjoy the view.

We have been visiting Oak Glen for the last 10 years and this is the first time we visit Apple Annie’s. The food was generous, hot, and full of flavor. I got the $16 wedge salad and it was worth every nickel. Lots of bacon, sun dried cherry tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, and dressing. The lettuce was nice and crisp. Best wedge I’ve ever had. We finished dinner with a slice of apple pie–you can’t go to Oak Glen and not have pie. Service was excellent.

A wonderfully cute pie shop that just smells delicious when you walk in. Since there were only two of us, we unfortunately could not try everything, but we did try a slice of the mile high pie. Wow! This thing was huge and just piled high with sweet, cinnamon apples. Honestly, it was just a lot for me, but the first 5-6 bites were incredible and would strongly recommend everyone to try at least once.
The low service score came from just the inefficiency of the service. There were only 3 parties in front of me and it still took almost 20 minutes to get the slice. They also mixed up our slice with someone else’s and took another 5 minutes to try and sort it out. Everything was really slow, so be weary if you’re in a rush and see a line!

Been coming here since I was a kid 30+ years since my first time almost every year. It’s really gone downhill and commercialized. I bought a pie to take home for thanksgiving and it was horrible. Apple pecan. Completely fell apart and was worse than a crumble. Dry, lacking flavor. Lots of pecans but that’s it. Bland. Had to scoop with a spoon to get it out. See pics for how it came out on the plate. Was excited to have it for thanksgiving. We ate lunch there too and it was decent. Nothing to write home about. Service was lacking as well

The Old fashioned is the least sweet and absolutely perfect if you’re looking for “no sugar added” apple pie! The crust is not sweet at all while the filling tastes more apple than syrupy so this is easily my favorite apple pie! Although I’d make the crust slightly less thick this is nevertheless a very traditionally recipe from the 1900s!!

Me and my girls decided we wanted to visit oak glen. First time eating here. Came in at 12 p.m., and they were only serving lunch. Frontside parking is scarce when it gets busy, but there is plenty of free parking directly across the street. To begin with, their lunch menu is very limited. And to top it off, they were out of the hot turkey dish, which was disappointing. So the choices that were left were burgers, fish & chips, fried chix, pot pie, chix tenders, chili, bread bowl, soup, salad, and the chicken fried steak that I ordered. It was crispy, but gravy was lacking flavor. Mashed potatoes were subpar at best. I also ordered a slice of corn bread with my meal, but it never came out. I just told the waitress to pack it up to go. I forget her name, but she was an older woman with long gray hair. She could of been a lil more friendly even though she seemed a little stressed. She never checked on us and waiting for check was unbelievable. We sat there with napkins on our plates for at least 15 min. She was also supposed to give me a bag because we had several to go boxes. Never got one. Highlight of experience were the drinks and french fries. Average cost of meal $20. Big portions no flavor. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Very busy, we got lucky because a couple minutes later everyone had to line up outside to wait. They serve only breakfast to 11:00 am then lunch and dinner only. I went there for a piece of Apple Crumble pie. A customer next to us ordered the fish & chips, 4 people could share it!
