I love their Port Chester location so I decided to try their new location. Appetit Bistro it’s always amazing! My favorite appetizers are the clams and tuna tartare and for main course you most try the duck à l’Orange. Do not forget to leave room for dessert they have the most amazing banana beignets. If you get there early you can enjoy a drink in their amazing bar!

So good! Great drinks at the bar and the desserts are dangerously good. Recently we tried their apps/dinner for the first time. The duck a l’orange was wonderful and the tuna tartare was FABULOUS!

The food and ambiance are great, absolutely love their new location in Norwalk. I had the banana beignets for dessert and it was amazing. Our waitress was friendly and her recommendations were on point. All the staff were welcoming and attentive.

I wish I could write a 5 star review, because the restaurant works very hard. The place does have a Parisian vibe with its decor and if there was a French soundtrack in the background, instead of bopping house/electronic music, that would be so much better/relaxing/true to the desired “feel” of the restaurant. This is minor stuff. The concern is that one of us ordered the Branzino and the moment we starting eating it, it tasted very “off,” meaning, spoiled. Although it should not happen in a restaurant, stuff like that happens. The dish was replaced by another one (not the branzino) but there was no real apology, the owner who stands around a lot, did not come over, nor was an adjustment to the bill made (or complimentary glass of wine, dessert, etc.). So, overall, a good place that needs a tad extra effort to get to 5 stars.

I hadn’t yet visited this neighborhood restaurant and wanted to try it. It was a Monday and there was a pretty good crowd in there. I ordered the prix fixe and really excited the selections. How they get that flavorful hanger steak to be so delicate is something I want to learn! All in all great meal.

My first time visiting this restaurant was during superbowl weekend. I was anticipating a charming intimate dining experience. However the superbowl was playing on all of the televisions. You can imagine the volume of the chatter and shouting from the other patrons. I would not describe this place as charming. The highlight of my dining experience was the wait staff and the small plate appetizer. The delectable octopus was ambrosia. I would definitely come back for that!
