App Java truly has everything a local establishment should have – warm, inviting atmosphere, welcoming staff and delicious food with great coffee. I had the build your own breakfast sandwich and it came nice and hot in a very timely manner. The coffee is from Dynamite Coffee in Black Mtn. I always prefer restaurants that use local roasters. Their Oatmeal Cream Pie is massive and worth it if you are looking for a special treat. I sat upstairs, which had such a great vibe – complete with comfy reading chairs & sofa, bar height tables along with regular tables as well. When you order food for “here” they give you a number and bring it to you with a smiling face. Coffee refills are extra, but still very reasonable. Sidewalk seating is available outside as well if the weather is nice. Overall, phenomenal experience!

This is my favorite coffee place in Burnsville! Their drinks are always so yummy and the staff is always so inviting. There’s seating both indoors and out, and it’s a great first stop before perusing through the different stores.

I didn’t get nearly enough time to enjoy this spot. I grabbed a quick tea to go and a chocolate covered strawberry. The tea was a great suggestion from the barista. They serve food (breakfast and lunch) and appear to have an upstairs seating area.

One of our favorite coffee shops in all of WNC! We make sure to stop by whenever we are in the area. Grab an oatmeal cream pie if they have them

I swung by the Burnsville library first thing, hoping to settle in for a bit ‐ but it was closed. No matter. I figured a coffee shop might serve up better internet anyway, and I wasn’t wrong. The morning crew was bustling but friendly, quickly selling me a cup for the self-serve station and pointing me toward the stairs. The ground floor is cozy and compact, but they’ve got a second level that opens things up nicely.

I chose the light roast labeled ‘Autumn Honduras,’ which turned out to be a fabulous pick ‐ bright, smooth, and just what I needed. I added a modest splash of cream, climbed the stairs, and found a quiet spot to settle in. I spent a solid hour up there, sipping slowly and sketching out the next leg of my journey through the mountains.

It’s a genuinely comfortable space, with enough warmth and quiet to make a full workday feel entirely doable. You could easily lose track of time here, and I wouldn’t blame you one bit.

Such a cute place. Stopped in to get a Cappuccino which was perfect. Also ordered a spicy Chai latte- man oh man it was sooooo good. Such a welcoming and cozy place. So many people in and out and everyone is super friendly. Upstairs has room to sit and visit. We will definitely go back. Don’t change- ever , please.

We went here for coffee this morning. This place did not disappoint. The atomsphere right off the bat was great. Great attitudes and friendly service. The place was so clean and well kept.
This was the best coffee we had before. The latte with almond milk, and carmel was amazing! My husband got a latte with half and half with white chocolate. He was blown away by its texture and flavor.
We also got some cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies! The cupcakes are dense and moist! Cookies are huge and have a nice crunch.
Definitely recommend for anyone to try! We will be coming back for sure.

A cute little cafe that we been to several times passing through Burnsville. We stopped by for takeout breakfast this time. The wrap and bagel sandwich were delicious! We had to wait for a while for them though.

Food and drinks are always good- we make a point to stop in every time we’re in town. Small spot, but plenty of seating upstairs. Free WiFi, so it’s nice to be able to hop on the computer and get a little work done in a cozy atmosphere.

We found this magnificent breakfast place our last day in Burnsville, NC. Had we found it sooner this would have been our daily breakfast place.
I had the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. It was the build your own. The bread was grilled perfectly, the tomatoes and avocados very fresh. My husband enjoyed his wrap with a great tasting dark Java!!! This place is not a breakfast only joint. They also serve salads & other food and an amazing array of pastries. We took ordered their lemon cake to go and regretted ordering only one slice. It was fabulous. If you visit Burnsville do not miss out on this great place.
