Wow, this place is great. We pass by often and finally gave it a try. And we are glad we did. Service is excellent, very nice people and warming welcome. We were given samples of their flavorful kimchee and veggie tempura – it both tasted great!
On to the food, I have to say that it was tasty and cooked just right. They use fresh ingredients, which is a rarity nowadays. The nigiri sushi cuts of sashimi was nice and thick using decent quality fish. Please look at the pictures.
I’m sold on Appa Sushi, will bring my coworkers here as well. Its so hard to find a restaurant that have every aspect of good quality dining compounded with great hospitality.

Excellent service and exceptional food at an amazing price! Sarah has such an infectious smile, it’s hard not to like this place. She is a complete sweetheart. I found this place looking for a quick spot for lunch. It was exactly what I needed on an overcast and rainy day. I will definitely make this a regular spot for me to visit. I got the chicken teriyaki and veggie yakisoba lunch special. I will be back to try the sashimi and sushi another day. Their kimchi was absolutely delicious

Excellent service from the moment I walked in. I was greeted with a smile, handed a menu right away, and the staff stayed on top of everything. And let me tell you about that teriyaki chicken—one bite and I thanked Jesus. It was flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the fried rice too, and that was just as good. Everything was on point.
While I was eating, there was a table of six or seven sheriffs enjoying their meals too, which honestly says a lot about the place. I lost my old teriyaki spot after it got bought out, so I’ve been searching for a new go-to. This was my first time here, and I’m already hooked. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

This is our new favorite sushi spot in Seattle — and after two visits, it just keeps getting better! Truly nothing bad to say. The food is incredibly fresh, the service is amazing, and we’ve never waited long for a table. Every dish we’ve tried has been delicious — it’s clear they care about quality from start to finish.
