This was such a surprising and fabulous find! We walked from McCormick place after the Chicago Auto Show, on Valentine’s Day, starving, with no reservations anywhere. We went looking for tacos, but the spot we googled ended up being a window instead of a sit down restaurant. Oops. So we stumbled in here after seeing the cute little candles and open kitchen from our street view. We were sat immediately with no waiting and the menu was so unique and exciting! Everything was phenomenal; we ordered the mussels on toast and tzatziki lamb skewers, skirt steak, a blue crab and lobster pasta, THE pistachio and tiramisu. Our waitress, Sofia, was so much fun, and all the staff who stopped by were so friendly. My husband and I had the best time. I’d recommend this spot to anyone! Enjoy!

Rarely do I ever give out five stars but it’s like this place gave me no other option lol
Atmosphere: the atmosphere and vibe were great. We loved the decor, the open kitchen, the lighting, etc. the service was phenomenal.
Service: the server made excellent suggestions, seemed really passionate about the restaurant and was really sweet! We did have a minor hiccup with the food, which I’ll get into below, but the server and the manager handled it with enthusiasm and grace. I overheard the manager speaking with the chef as well and seemed to give really thoughtful (and very polite) constructive criticism for the dish which I thought he handled very graciously.
Food: the most important part lol the pictures don’t do it justice I should’ve taken videos too!We went for dinner so it’s a standalone menu. We had the Black Truffle Puff Bread and Garlic Chili Shrimp for appetizers, the White Truffle Tagliatelle and the Grilled Mediterranean Branzino as entrees, and The Pistachio for dessert. Everything had excellent flavor. Our food came out hot and fresh and there was a lot of care and attention put into the details of the flavor pairings and overall presentation. The only hiccup we had was that the garlic chili shrimp appetizer was very, very salty. The other flavors were amazing but it was too salty to eat, so they prepared that dish for us again. I’m sure that was just a fluke because everything else was perfect. My husband and I have resolved that we need to go back at least 3 more times to try everything on the menu I would definitely give this place a try if I were you! If we go back and they switched up on us, I will most certainly edit my review lol but I think it’ll be amazing again! Happy eating everyone

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the food overall, but the service was truly outstanding. I’ve never been to a restaurant that offered my son a coloring sheet — I thought that was such a thoughtful touch. I didn’t enjoy the calamari pasta, but both the server and manager were quick to respond and kindly returned it without any hassle. My mom liked the truffle bread, though it wasn’t for me. However, the chicken with harissa was an absolute hit, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My mocktail was very tasty; I actually think it would’ve been even better as a cocktail with gin, but it was still great as is. Big shoutout to the manager and our server for making the experience memorable. The atmosphere was cozy and warm , a lovely spot to start the evening.

Overall solid experience. We were sorted quickly and waters were refilled quite often. Our server was great, super friendly guy. We ordered cappuccino, but they were only filled halfway which was odd and looked more like a macchiato and he was quick to fix it. We ordered the pastry flight. It would be nice if it came on a tier like the tables next to us, but I guess they ran out of plates. The pastries were solid, flakey. The smores croissant was a sugar rush but delicious.

Tried here for the first time and the space is so nice and classy. It was open concept with a modern feel and an open kitchen so it kind of looked like an LA mansion haha!
One funny thing I noticed was that every plate had a little chip in it. At first I thought it was part of the aesthetic but I asked the waiter and he said nope just a coincidence. The waiter was super friendly but I do wish he checked in more often. It was hard to flag him down when we wanted to order more or grab another drink and it wasn’t even that busy. We were there during dinner and there were maybe 7-10 people total in the restaurant.
The food was great!! Highly recommend the fluffy bread, octopus appetizer (so buttery and yummy), any of their pastas, and the pistachio dessert!! I would definitely come back to try the chefs tasting menu!

Great variety of tapas-style starters — fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The selection was diverse and enjoyable, perfect for sharing. The truffle puff bread was tasty but slightly too salty for our liking. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. It was quite hot inside and a bit noisy, which took away slightly from the overall comfort, but the food made up for it.

The food was delicious and out of the ordinary traditional pasta you don’t usually try at Italian restaurants. Angel, the server was very informative and attentive. I will be coming back just for him. Try the Calamari Calamarata for lunch menu. The sauce is delish.

Our last night in Chicago we found this restaurant within walking distance from our conference center and said, why not give it a try? I’m so glad we did because this is yet another Italian/Mediterranean place that has won my heart and makes me want to visit Chicago again just so I can eat more of this food. The decor and food presentation is very modern and sleek but also tastes good. The happy hour menu is a great deal to try some smaller plates and they also have a chef dinner course that is a great deal. The highlights of my meal was my sausage pasta and the pistachio dessert. The pasta was rich, sausage flavorful, and the tomato sauce brought it all together. I felt like I was in Italy. And I didn’t know what to expect with the pistachio dessert but it was subtly flavored and at the bottom of the pistachio ice cream there was pistachio cake! Definitely a must have for pistachio lovers or if you want something light and not too sweet as a finisher. Again, I seriously want to go back to Chicago just so I can try more of this restaurant’s food items. It’s just that good!

Delicious. We went during their brunch menu. Loved it. We can’t wait to go back for their dinner menu. We ordered the s’mores croissant (delicious), the Black Truffle Puff Bread (amazing!!), the Ancient Grains Bowl (really good), and the Warm Seafood Salad (this was very fresh. We got the dressing on the side and we’re happy we did. It’s pretty sour).
The service was great too. All in all, it was a very nice experience. Definitely a strong recommend.

I recently visited this great restaurant while visiting Chicago, and I was quite simply amazed. The team was great and provided some great menu recommendations. I was very impressed with everything that I had.
I was there during an early lunch, so I cannot really comment on the “atmosphere”, although the layout of the restaurant and the overall “look” was great.
Highly recommended.
