Stumbled upon this jewel of a restaurant today. The place has a definite NYC vibe. The guy that took my order was extremely helpful and friendly-5⭐️. I was excited to see they used cup & curl pepperonis, these once charred add a great depth of flavor. The thin slice crust had a wonderful taste and texture, the toppings were spot on too. I don’t normally eat thick slices but this was too appealing to pass up, another great crust and toppings. I’ll definitely visit again!

Tried Apollonia’s Pizzeria recently and overall it was a good experience. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference.

I ordered the Acapulco Gold square pizza, it was alright, just not what I was thinking it would be. It’s pretty much bread with cheese on it and a bunch of arugula 🙂 Not bad, just different from what I expected.

I’m definitely going to give them another chance and try a normal, traditional slice next time. I’ve heard great things, so I’m looking forward to it!

I’ve had a lot of pizza around the world, including Italy and NYC, and this is by far the BEST pizza I’ve ever had. Love it so much that it’s worth the 1.5 hour drive just for this pizza. My fav is the square slice of pepperoni. The most perfect dough and sauce the sauce and toppings are perfectly proportioned so that you get enough with each and every bite. The crispy cheese around the edges is so good. Other favs are the thin slice vodka and pepperoni.

The cashier is super cool and personable.

BE ADVISED- they’re open limited hours and are CASH ONLY.

The place is small and you can dine in by standing up and eating on the small bar located on the wall. Take some to go and reheat in the air fryer or oven. So good!

I had an amazing experience at Apollonia Pizza! The atmosphere is really welcoming and has a great vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I tried the vodka square pizza, which I believe is Chicago-style, and it was absolutely delicious. I also had a triangle pie with pepperoni and pickled jalapenos, and that was equally amazing. Highly recommend this place!

Best single slice of pizza I’ve had in LA in some time! Favorite was the thin slice. Wasn’t a huge fan of the square, but I think it’s just personal preference. We also tried the whole Wilshire Margherita which has chicken sausage. It was good, but wasn’t as good as the classic slice. Something about the cheese and sauce that was different, but the crispy crust carry’s all the slices.

Service was fast and friendly. Thankfully no lines, so the wait was short to heat up the slices (about 5-10 mins) and while pie (about 20 mins). Cash only and parking was tight but we got lucky. Happy I finally got to try this place. Will compare all others to Appolonia’s now 🙂

Great pizza spot. Learned this place was ranked in the top 100 pizzas in the WORLD at a competition in Milan Italy. First time I got the New York round pepperoni pizza, and the very first bite I had a ratatouille moment in which it brought me back to eating pizza as a kid with my mother and sister in Brooklyn. Since then, I’ve been back two more times and tried the square vodka, pizza, and the round vodka pizza which were both very good. Fair warning I recommend ordering hours in advance online and you can pay with a card. Otherwise, it is cash only at the store and if you wait to order until you get to the store, you could be waiting hour(s). Also there is no seating so people just sit at their vehicle or curb outside and eat. Definitely worth the wait and drive.

Honestly some of the best pizza we’ve had in LA, got the 20C Pepperoni with Burrata and Mike’s Hot Honey and it was so delicious, 10/10. The honey was perfectly balanced sweet with a little spice, the burrata was so fresh and light, it was all so good.

we ordered online and it was seamless, super easy and ready in 45mn on a Friday night. Excited to go back and try their other pizzas.

I never write reviews but felt I had to for this place.

Apollonias is what you get when the high school film geek reject grows up and opens up a pizzeria. This spot seems to have the look down pat but it lacks heart.

When it comes to the square pie, I’m disappointed to say I felt like a dog gnawing at a bone. So much work to chew through this pizza and yet so little reward….. The crust tasted like a burnt lump of coal. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I don’t get the hype, inauthentic hipster pizza joint with abysmal customer service 2/5.

Also no napkins, come on guys for a $40 pie that reeks of oil, napkins is just common courtesy. Do better.

Went on a pizza taste test of LA with a few spots before this place as I’ve had it before and I know it’s the best.

Pizza in LA is decent. This place is great.

My go-to is always one square cheese and one thin crust cheese. Add burrata on the square slice if you feel like it. I’d skip the hot honey, it’s too sweet imo. Probably better with the meat options.

I went at 5 when the opened, got my food at 5:50.
Not a complaint. You can see they take their time, which I never feel is a bad thing.

Similar to 9/11, we DEMO’D this peetzer…fell at nearly free-falling speed to the bottom of our gullets and we silently smiled the whole way down. We went full on sacrilege and ordered a Round and Thin in the “Viva La Vegan” styley because our homie is a dairy free Darrell but graciously took the liberty of adorning that vegan cheese with it’s mortal enemy, Mrs. Pepperoni & Mr. Sausage…and bruh…sis…they&dem…lei’me tell you, the combo was diabolical! Like a store clerk catching a fleeing thief, we knocked down the whole thing in the parking lot and left all primal like with sauce on our feet and grease stained shirts alike…even left with a nub of sausage in a sock but could’ve have been happier so if you’re up for adventure, maybe take the trek and see for yourself…could quite possibly be the time of your life.
