If you are in or near Lexington, KY looking for some authentic, made to order pizza and wings then this is a must stop. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming, plenty of parking, and friendly staff. There is something here for everyone. Had the huge wagon wheel pizza and some bone in wings. Excellent!

What a dope little joint. Super fun menu, plenty of options to choose from. My waitress could have been a little happier/attentive but it was a quiet Sunday evening – I get it.
My dad & I ordered the French fries which were so crispy and tasty! And the Popo 5 0 pizza for dinner. Totally a cool dive-y type place I could see myself coming back if I lived in Kentucky – if I’m ever passing through again ill be back !!

We have been going at least once or twice a month for the past year and have thoroughly enjoyed our experiences. We are incredibly disappointed with our latest meal – the subs had essentially no filling! Two small slices of beef and a couple smashed tiny meatballs are not adequate. Furthermore, I indicated no mushrooms because of an allergy. As you can see pictured, the mushrooms were the most plentiful item on the sub.
This was a takeout order. I called and asked to speak to the manager and they left me on the line for about 5 minutes. Then, I heard one say “I just don’t have time” and then the phone was abruptly hung up.
Needless to say, I wanted to give the manager an opportunity to make up for it given how much we have enjoyed this establishment. It seems like some changes in the past few weeks have soured our opinion of this place and are unlikely to return.

My “hamtastic” sandwich was certainly lacking ham having literally one slice on each half of bread plus being charged $2 extra to add onion only to get 3 dices on one half of my sandwich. Pizza was also disappointing, no sauce and the cheese just didn’t look good. I would compare the pizza to bad bowling alley pizza that has been sitting out. Had to throw it away after one slice. Overall just not great food go somewhere else.

You’ll probably have a sticky table.
You’ll most likely not get service within 10 minutes.
You’ll get sticky menus and zero eye contact.
You’ll probably not get your waters, either.
You will walk out without having been served or eating actual pizza.
Don’t go here at noon on a Sunday. Just a couple of people not being served by the one and only server who is also the bartender and probably the cook.
This place sucks.
Highly not recommended.
Drive yourself to “Tortilleria Y Taqueria Ramirez” and get yourself an authentic burrito instead.

The Old Guys Pub Crawl crawled into Apollo Pizza, claimed a table and mirth ensued while enjoying the food and beers. We love this place. About a beer and a half in and old Paul began reciting limericks that would take paint off the wall. But nap time soon hit him and things calmed down. He wore his good hat and that tends to excite the older ladies. We love this place.

We were in town visiting distilleries and love to try different pizza places. Apollo Pizza did not disappoint! We ordered the 20 inch sausage fest pizza and garlic cheese sticks. It was amazing!

We wanted to try another place for pizza..and we heard about this one close to our house. Went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Very good service and food. We started with the cheese bread and it was very good! Well seasoned and the sauce was spot on! We then had a pizza with half for us and half for our son…he doesn’t like as much on his. Pizza was perfectly prepared, cooked perfect and came out timely. Very happy with our experience and we will be back…we would Like to try the patio next time!! We liked that the drink cups made huge so you don’t have to ask for refills! Give them a try for eat in or carry out!! Recommended!!

First time here on the hunt for nice NY Pizza and the food here was great !!!!! We ordered the 20 In Pizza Pie with Pepperoni and Fried Bananna peppers … The Bannana Peppers I give 5 stars !!!! The best !!!! Pizza was cut into a bunch of squares so had to give 4 stars …. If you are looking for a NY Pizza order the 20 Inch pie and have them cut it into 6 or 8 slices and it will be a 5 star Pizza…… We will definatley return…… Staff is great !!!! Might have to just question there 20 Inch Pie, Think it was more like a 16 Inch Pie..

Okay first time going to Apollo pizza I had a pick up order customer service was GREAT. But the ziti chicken Alfredo was horrible the cheese covered so much of the food it was thick and the flavor of the sauce the little that their was DISGUSTING on top of that the AIR THIN BREAD STICKS PUFFY FOR NO REASON AND THE MARINARA THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING yes safe to say I will not be back my friend ordered the same thing epic fail maybe I should’ve stuck with the pizza lol
