On a Saturday night on the first weekend in February, my girlfriend and I visited Apollo Grill for the first time — finally!

We were seated right away in an open format atmosphere with the best balance of light and dark. The bar across from us looked fantastic.

What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible.

Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar.

I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more.

She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day.

I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor.

For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn’t been made in-house.

We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.

Delicious. We had a party of 8 and the service was timely with friendly staff. The limoncello spritz was tasty and refreshing. The crabcake was a good size and so good and the potatoes were great too and had bacon pieces which added a good taste. The lemon aoli was nice with everything on the plate. But the real star of the show was the garlic green beans. SO GOOOOD. Dont get me started on the french onion soup.. best ever. Kudos

Apollo is our absolute favorite restaurant in the valley! Always incredible service and everything on their menu is delicious! For special occasions or even just drinks and splitting apps, it is the perfect place to bring together friends and family. All staff are wonderful, last night we have Michelle as our waitress and she was terrific.

We’re so glad we finally tried Apollo Grill! I could see why it is always busy, even on a week night. Our server, Tre was fantastic and very attentive. Food came out at a reasonable pace. The highlight of the night were the desserts! Probably a top contender for desserts for restaurants in the Lehigh Valley.

The only downside I would mention is that some of the apps and entrees were a bit bland.

Appetizers: Calamari, Clams Casino and Fried Cauliflower

Entrees: Short rib and BBQ Chipotle lamb shank

My friend and I tried a bunch of appetizers. They were all super yummy. The cocktails were delightful. And last but definitely not least was the amazing warm almond cake topped with whipped cream and ice cream. It was to die for. I would definitely go back again.

I’ve lived here for 18 years and always heard great things about Apollo..wr had company visit from out of town. Definitely make reservations and make them early. We had calamari, nachos with chicken and oysters. The nachos stole the show for sure. We agreed they were probably the best we’ve ever had. They were so good and huge. Only one issue, we had a person with a nut allergy and due to cross contamination issue, they couldn’t eat the apps. For main course we had the Lamb Chop, 14 Oz. Ribeye, Linguine with clams, chicken breast with veggies , and the 13 year d had the BLT with a Lobster tail, ….anyway, it was all excellent. The food was spaced accordingly, not too slow and not too fast. For the allergy, it was recommended to stay with a protein, baked potato, and a vegetable. We didnt even think about desert, we were all stuffed..Apollo is definitely worth the hype..

Let’s just say I was not impressed! I ordered the Ahi Tuna Wrap, medium rare. There was only one piece of tuna that was actually medium rare. The other pieces were well done. They served potato chips with the sandwich. Based on the $17 charge, they could have at least given me the option for french fries. I also ordered the pumpkin pancakes. Those were ok. Again, for the price I think they should have given you a side dish.

In regard to service, the waitress was nice, but she seemed a little frazzled. I am not sure if it was due to the restaurant being short staffed? The reason I am saying short staffed was due to the fact that we had to wait 25 minutes for our table outside when there were quite a few of empty tables outside.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be coming back to Apollo Grill.

Apollo doesnt disappoint. For an apatizer I wanted to try something differnt and went with thr crab and avocado cocktail. This was absolutely delicious. For dinner I had the short rib entree. Everything about was great but the mash potatoes were on another level.

For dessert I had to try the pecan vanilla bean cheese cake which ended up being the perfect finish.

We had a wonderful dinner celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had a flight of martinis (cheesecake, espresso, and apple cider—both of us liked the cider and espresso). We enjoyed the hummus salad and ahi tuna carpaccio as appetizers. One of us had the duck—moist on the inside, crispy out and not greasy. The other had the wild mushroom risotto and seared salmon tacos. Dessert was a blueberry pound cake.
