We only came here because In and Out burger had a line out fifty feet out the door and it was a huge regret. We paid double what we would have at In and Out for a very sub par experience. The one and only thing to rave about here is the fries. The fry sauce however is a far cry from what it was years ago and the burger was the worst I’ve had in a very long time. I don’t know what the heck has happened to this place? I used to go to the Orem location all the time years ago and remember it being a lot better than this.
As if our meal wasn’t bad enough they also completely forgot my daughter’s food and when we went up to the counter to remind them the girl at the counter did not say a word but simply turned around and went and started making it. (We were VERY polite) We were happy that she actually got her food but a little communication that the girl understood and was possibly sorry would have gone a long way…
On top of all this I have never been in a restaurant that was so hot inside. I don’t know if their AC was out or if they just don’t care about their customers comfort on a hot summer night but it felt like it was well over 80° inside and we were all perspiring by the time we left.
I will absolutely never return to this location. There are too many other places on top of their game with consistent predictable quality to give my money to.

I had a great experience here tonight. The food tasted fresh, and it was prepared relatively quickly. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Plus, this restaurant offers a senior citizen discount. I love it. Overall, this location is worth trying.

I come here pretty regularly to get an Apollo burger and am never disappointed.
It is so good. I love pastrami on a cheeseburger, and combine that with their fry sauce and it just hits the spot.
I usually do the drive-through, and it is always pretty quick. I have been in a few times as well, and either case I always get good service.

Editing this review again 7/2024 and adding another star. The place is now always clean and the service is always friendly and helpful. They cook food to order so don’t expect McD’s speed but of course that means the food is 9384% better. Hot and fresh and attractive to look at and delicious. A local gem that deserves regular fans. Rock on.

I decided to give these guys one more shot and the cashier was friendly and helpful, food (Apollo burger combo) was hot, fresh, and excellent, fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the restaurant was clean. Keep it up and I’ll keep coming back. 2/27/23 about 12:15 pm.
(Original review follows) This location needs help. Manager/owner please reprioritize cleanliness and a cheerful staff, let alone the food. I’ve been an Apollo fan for years in SLC locations and was always impressed both with the quality of the food and with the clean restaurant. I finally visited the AF location 5/11 6:40. The cashier was stoic and indifferent, but the real issue was every table and booth was dirty. There was catchup and fry sauce drips all around the dispensers. Fries were hot but overdone like they’d been “freshened” after sitting around. Western burger was lukewarm and the bun was noticeably cold to the touch. I’ll try one more time before giving up and will update this review if things improve.

JUST A HEADS UP IF YOU GO HERE: They tried to charge me sales tax on activating and adding money to a new gift card. This counts as a cash equivalent, it is not a sale and is not taxable. The employees insisted that they needed to add sales tax and even called multiple people for help before phoning a manager when they couldn’t do it because the system didn’t allow them to add sales tax. I did make a report with the Federal trade commission because they stated that they had successfully added it before and just couldn’t find it in their new system.
But the point is: YOU AS THE CONSUMER SHOULD NEVER PAY SALES TAX ON PICKING UP A GIFT CARD. THAT IS NOT A SALE. DON’T LET ANYONE CHARGE YOU SALES TAX FOR AN EXCHANGE! YOU ONLY PAY SALES TAX WHEN THAT GIFT CARD IS USED TO BUY SOMETHING! And there are ways to report it online and to try and get a refund if you were accidentally charged sales tax on getting a new gift card.

OK, hear me out, this place is so underrated. It’s insane. When we went on a Saturday night I expected to be so busy, but it was not crowded at all! And the food was phenomenal. I’m talking. The burger was not greasy. Everything seemed extremely fresh and clean. My husband and I got the Hawaiian burger and it was amazing. Amazing!
I would honestly go here over habit, burger or Smashburger. For the price, you’re getting a really great burger and great service. Normally whenever I have a burger, they put too much sauce on it and the burger just falls to pieces. However, This burger stayed intact through the whole eating experience.

This is BEYOND my absolute favorite burger place. The food is always fresh and the employees are super nice!! I have never been disappointed with the choice of burger from the multiple I have tried. The Oreo shakes are on point too!!
