First impressions upon walking in:
The interior is very small and if it gets busy, it can feel cramped. However, they do have outside seating for the summer so it’s not that bad.

The atmosphere is pretty nice for the most part and the waitresses are friendly too.

Food wise,
Everything was delicious.
I got a double cheeseburger and added on bacon and a fried egg and boy it was out of this world. Super juicy, cooked to perfection, just excellent in general.
The fries were also amazing!

So overall, Apocalypse Burger is a great place if you’re in it for burgers. I’d recommend it if you make it to this area of Indianapolis.

We went this summer and sat outside and had an overall good experience. Our server was friendly and the food was tasty. My husband really enjoyed his burger and said it was on par with some of his favorites. I had the chicken sandwich which was crunchy, juicy and flavorful. My only complaint would be the fries. For all the toppings, they just didn’t have much flavor. The cheese sauce wasn’t coming through and that was disappointing. In the end though we’d return and recommend.

First, delicious. Nothing too fancy, no weird toppings or eyebrow raising items, just classic combinations done well. A really excellent smash burger at a really excellent price.

Service is solid and tableside, always nice.

Went on a busy night, full dinning room, still fast and friendly and good.

Fries are piled high. A single order of onion rings, with a sweet onion flavor that pairs nicely with the batter, not too much of either ingredient, was easily sharable for a party of 6.

The burger was great. Simply great. Good toppings, cooked well, the bun had a crisp edge that really shined. At times I was reminded of the HIMYM Burger Soliloquy.

Parking ia dodgy, but that’s the area, I respect not wasting space on a parking lot. Area is nice. Dinning room is well decorated and bathrooms were clean, but just two, so a little line at times.

We stopped by on our way to an event at Clowes Memorial Hall and the food and service were great. Loved the flavors of the smash burgers, fries, and onion rings. Everthing was hot and fresh. We will definitely be returning.

We had a great time! The music was definitely a vibe! Our server was on time and very friendly! The burgers…oh the burgers they melt in your mouth! And the fries! The loaded fries out do, another place I won’t mention here. The root beer float…I mean! If I lived closer I would go more often!

This place was awesome! The fries were super fresh and cheesy, the burgers were smashed w crispy edges. The service was phenomenal. The manager even told me I could go across the street to Napolese pizzeria and order cocktails and bring them back to Apocalypse burger w me since they only served craft beer!! They also have a wheel that you can spin and win prizes or you might have to wear a banana suit and dance around the resteraunt . We plan to return.

Popped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Was still fairly busy, but was seated straight away. Started with the loaded fries, which were pretty good. Could have used a little more cheese sauce, as there wasn’t enough to get the bacon to stick to them, leaving me scrounging around picking up those magical morsels. The bacon itself was pretty amazing. Instead of being sliced and crumbled, it was more of a lardon presentation. Intensely smoky, and crisp on the outside, but still tender inside. I could’ve eaten just a bowl of that and been supremely happy. Moving on to the Smashpocalypse Burger….two smashed patties with onion, pickle, white bbq and manchego. The meat was cooked perfectly, with lots of lacy crispy edges (meat candy), perfectly toasted buns, and the manchego was an interesting touch that I really enjoyed. The white bbq didn’t really bring much to the table, though. Washed it all down with their Apocalypse Burger Beer, a kölsch that is apparently brewed especially for them by Bier Brewery, keeping it local. In all, it was a great experience, and I look forward to returning the next time I find myself in the area.

We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday evening in September. Even though the patio is close to the street, it had a nice ambiance and views. Our server, Celeste, was great…very knowledgeable and friendly but not pushy or obnoxious about it. We had the loaded fries, delicious. The bacon, seemingly high quality, was cut into cubes so you could actually taste it. The onion rings weren’t bad but not our favorite. They were a large serving but the skinny kind of strings. I had the smashocalypse burger (pictured), would totally recommend and my SO had the Instaswag burger, a mustard grilled burger like In-N-Out, with 1000 island, grilled onions, lettuce and tomato. He really liked it, although it was messy. Would recommend!

Stopped by the Apocalypse Burger for lunch this afternoon with my lovely wife. The restaurant is located at 49th and Pennsylvania Avenue. There are three restaurants at the same location, so parking is tough. You have to jockey for a place on the street, so this could be an issue for the hungry. The wife had the Smashburger with fries and I had the Plain Jane burger with fries also. We got an order of onion rings to share, which were actually onion straws. The location and decor are slightly upscale, but the food is ordinary. We liked our burgers and the food was OK. But there’s just nothing that we ordered on the menu that stands out, that would make you come back. The prices were spot on, slightly more than $31 for our meal. And that included a Coke for me and a Root Beer Float for her. The wife loved her Root Beer Float. And I had a sip of the root beer, which was very good. Triple X root beer, which apparently can be obtained across the street at Sullivans hardware. Which will be our next stop when leaving here. All in all we have mixed feelings about this place. Just Soso.

In a trendy spot at 49th and Penn, Apocalypse Burger has a nice open interior and some outside seating.

You look up the menu with your phone and a QR Code.

I ordered The 16$ meal I picked loaded fries with out scallions ( we all shared ) , Swagyu Beef Hotdog with only mustard and onion _ forgot to take pic of dog) . It came with mustard, onion , ketchup and pickle relish, wasn’t too happy about that. I picked off what I could of the relish. The hotdog was good. Would have been better without the ketchup. Fries were amazing and bacon and cheese sauce was great.

Husband got the smashpocalypse burger and fries. He said the burger was great but a bit messy. Extra napkins weren’t available near by.

Friend got plain jane and fries. Her fries got forgot. She liked her burger.

Other friend got fried chicken sandwich. She said it was ok, not great not bad.

We all shared an order of onion rings. We all said they were amazing!!

Husband and I shared a black out ding dong cake. Being dark chocolate he loved it. I thought it was ok one bite was enough for me.

***I ordered a meal that was 16$ loaded fries, hotdog , and drink. Didn’t notice it was a Devour Indy Menu. I was charged 10$ for fries, 10$ for hotdog and 3$ for Tea. If the menu is no longer in play it needs to be removed. ***
