My family and I have recently moved to Aiken and we are so thankful to have found this place! The staff is very friendly and the food is the highest quality you can find in the state! This is a small business focused on quality above all else so sometimes the wait is longer if they’re busy, but the food is worth it! The dough is crunchy but not filling, the sauce has that fresh tomato flavor, and the cheese is just perfection. Our favorites are the New Haven and the Margherita – vera. If you’re in the area and have the time to enjoy a certified authentic Italian experience, you won’t be disappointed!

I was in Aiken for work this week and finally had a chance to stop by for a late lunch on my way out of town. My pizza was amazing—fresh ingredients and not a heavy meal like American style pizza. I ended my meal with Spumoni Bomba and was not disappointed. The staff (including the owner) were kind and attentive. I don’t anticipate that I’ll have reason to be back in Aiken, but if I ever am I will make a point to stop in again.

So I have decided to rate them with a 3 based first on price versus size. Selling a small pizza as a large at a large pizza price. $20 for a small.(their large) is over priced. The photo added is a normal size dinner plate just to give you a reference to their large pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and a black olive as you can see there is very very little pepperoni added. Their cheese is good sauce is pretty decent a little on the thin side. I just finished the pie unfortunately I’m still a little hungry. However, I must admit it was delicious. If they could increase their size , I feel like they could be a definite contender. Understand I come from New York known for pizza and some other things we will not discuss. I will be a return customer.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a New Haven pizza and side salad after a long day of work in Aiken, SC.

PROS: The crust was thin and crispy on the New Haven pizza. I always thought that a New Haven pizza was without cheese and only tomato sauce with some pecorino, but I really enjoyed this pizza and ate the whole thing. The salad was delicious and blueberry pomegranate, balsamic vinaigrette had a lot of flavor.

CONS: The pizza was not cut, despite the menu saying that it would be cut. Some pizzas on the menu say UNCUT next to the name of the pizza with the disclaimer that Neapolitan pizza should not be cut. Normally it wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but I was staying in a hotel but the plastic fork and knife they gave me was enough to cut the pizza. It was $26 for a 12 inch pizza and some spring mix and halved cherry but I don’t mind paying that much for a meal when it is high-quality. And this pizza and salad was very delicious. They gave me a 8:05 PM pick up time but when I walked in at 7:55 the pizza was being put into the box so that could have something to do with it not being cut.

Overall, this was a high-quality pizza and salad, and it was very delicious after a long day of work. The next time I’m in Aiken, I plan to order from here again. Highly recommend!

I’ve visited this establishment twice. I do like the pizza, the wings were not bad, my favorite was the pollo picante pizza, not sure what “NOLA sauce” is bc it didn’t taste like anything I’ve had in NOLA but the pizza was very good. I do think this place is a little pricey & the service is not very friendly. I just moved back to the area from NOLA so maybe I’m used to a different level of friendliness. The service alone makes me want to avoid this place, they seem bothered 🙁

This was well worth the drive. It’s a family-run establishment that uses fresh ingredients, and the food doesn’t leave you feeling heavy or sleepy. We ordered a little of everything and, even though we couldn’t finish it all, we still had room for dessert and cappuccino without feeling overstuffed.

The atmosphere was lovely, with many friendly local regulars that made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful food and great experience!

Do not go. The service is terrible. We have been to a lot of restaurants in a lot of different places with varying levels of service. While we love our food to be 10/10 and prefer friendly, attentive service, as long as the food is good and the service is at least responsive, we are content.

However, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. The ?owner was rude to the customers and his staff. I’m not even going to review the food itself, because even IF the pizza was the best authentic Italian slice I’d ever had, I would never go back based on the unprofessionalism, disrespect and absolute terrible service from start to finish. We love to support local, and love to try new places. This was an absolute fail.

This restaurant changed my entire perspective of pizza. Best pizza of my life.

We live over an hour away and have wanted to try their pizza for over a year. Upset we didn’t come earlier. We tried the Margherita, New Haven and Vesuvius pizzas. My wife liked the Margherita the best and I liked the Vesuvius the best. That’s not saying much as they all were amazing. I regret not getting a fourth or fifth at this point. The desserts, Spumoni Bomba and Cannoli, were excellent as well. I’m an ice cream guy so I devoured most of the Spumoni and my wife loved the Cannoli. We will definitely be back and try other pizzas and maybe get 5 or 6 because they were just as delicious out of the toaster oven.

If you want AUTHENTIC ITALIAN PIZZA this is it!!! This place is amazing!!!!

I lived in Northern Italy for 3 years, and this is 100% authentic Italian pizza!!

In Italy each person orders a pizza for themselves. You generally eat it with a fork and a knife, in addition to your hands. The freshest ingredients are used, and because of that, the water from the tomatoes settles in the center of the pizza as it cooks in the brick oven. This is authentically Italian… Not to mention, delicious!!

Everything about this pizza was accurate!

When they walked the pizza out to the table, the smell hit me first. It took me back 30 years. The look was spot on…. The texture… the taste…. all of it was PERFECT!!!!

I was literally crying eating this pizza because of the memories it brought back. It was definitely a “Ratatouille-Moment” that snapped me back to another place and time.

I have never tasted anything like this stateside. I thought I would have to go back to Italy to ever taste this again. I am beyond elated that I came across this pizzeria!!!

Thank you, Apizza di Napoli, for creating an authentic meal the brought back so many wonderful memories!!! ❤❤❤
