We had our baby shower at Apéritif yesterday, ~40 friends and family, and *everyone* complimented their favorite food items (deviled eggs, egg rolls, canapes, flatbreads), the seasonal decadent cocktails, and how spacious and nice the space was.

Several people outside of our party dined outside on the outdoor balcony patio while we had our festivities inside and there was zero issue with service accommodating all of us.

Jason and his team were helpful, kind, and on top of taking care of us the throughout all of it. Thank’s again, y’all!!

The concept of this place is cute and definitely great for Durham. Our server was great, especially considering she was the only one on tables for a Friday night.

The drink menu and the food menu is rather large. Though we were surprised they were out of several things (again on a Friday night at 6:30). However, I don’t necessarily recommend the food here which is a shame. We got the artisan cheese & charcuterie board (they did have gf crackers!). The cheese selection was great but the prosciutto was not good. It was cut much too thick, no like the thin melty way prosciutto is supposed to be. The accoutrements were lacking as well, it says “nuts and seasonal accoutrements” but it was very few spiced pecans and like 4 dried orange apricots…

The other folks I was with seemed to enjoy their meals, the flatbreads look excellent. My salad though was not great. The one I originally wanted they were out of, somehow, and so I got the other salad instead with chicken. The chicken didn’t taste fresh and was tough. It was a very meh salad. Lastly the creme brûlée was much more like a pudding with a crust rather than a light custard.

Our drinks were ok. A lot of what they have trends towards very sweet. Best cocktail there right now is their old fashioned, though they were also out of the key bitter the drink revolves around. Still, it was delicious without.

All in all it’s cute, and the outdoor vibe is wonderful, but it isn’t a craft food/drink experience.

Lovely, bright, modern place for lunch. The food was excellent as was our server. I was visiting, but if I lived nearby, this would be the perfect place for an after work drink with friends.

Two words: cocktails and sammies.
I think I just had the best grilled cheese-esque sandwich of my life and their cocktails are anything but ordinary. They are unique, inventive, delicious and artful. I also hear they have charcuterie boards but now that I ve tasted their Tomatoe soup and sandwiches, I am forever ruined for grilled cheeses and will likely never make it past that part of the menu. Super kind and great service, chill relaxed but elevated ambience. Upstairs. Reasonable prices for delish!! A great chill date or quiet place to meet some friends after work.

Wow really pretty and delicious cocktail! The sandwich was good but I thought it could be warm. i also really liked the cheesecake. The flatbread was decent ( but as my friend said, no protein.) overall a really good place to grab a drink with some snacks big big really a restaurant.

The manager Brian was extremely rude to the point it felt disrespectful. We had some questions about cheeses and Brian seemed to be so bothered about us having any questions. He raised his voice at us and kept saying, you can take a seat and look at the menu. It was obvious we were irritating him. I just don’t understand how a manager could unprofessional towards customers. We both felt uncomfortable and contemplated just leaving, but then Patrick came out. We have been before and he’s served us and he’s absolutely wonderful. So we stayed. I don’t know if we will be back because brian’s behavior was very off putting.

I imagine this place is great for people who live right by, but there is nothing else around so if you travel over there, it isn’t worth being a single stop.

The interior is nice and it has some decent views. For food, we only had the charcuterie board which we enjoyed. The drinks were too watery for our tastes. Service was friendly and attentive.

Not sure if I would come again, but may be worth a check out for others.

Cocktail hour was delightful! Spacious with very comfortable seating our waiter was gracious and timely. We choose the cucumber pesto caprisi salad and the olive nuts combo to snack on. Both excellent choices!! My glass of vino at the happy hour prices hit the spot. Thank you to Aperitif for a wonderful experience in Durham as I am from NY.
