Chef Danielle’s menu is full of delicious, fresh, local items. Everything we ate was divine. It’s quite literally, art, on a plate. Visually stunning, the smells, taste, and presentation will leave you wanting more (although I doubt you’ll be able to have it with the generous portions offered). Make sure you leave room for dessert as her offerings are delightful! A wonderful atmosphere for a girls dinner or a romantic date.

We finally went to Apericena, and oh my. This was such a wonderful experience, that we legitimately were upset at how good it was! We decided our regular dinners at home will feel so pale and bland in comparison We got the burst tomato pasta, Grand Marnier French toast with raspberry sauce, and turkey pesto panini with a split pea soup. Everything tasted absolutely divine, flavorful, and very fresh. The dessert – tiramisu and carrot cake – was also amazing, but the entrees were definitely the stars of this place. The staff was also incredibly nice and knowledgeable. The only minor downside is that the place is fairly small, so even though we were sat behind the wall where the entrance was, people coming in and out brought the cold wind with it, and I got a cold after but that may just be my weak immunity, and the food was worth it. We will 100% be back!!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here for our anniversary. We had made reservations at 6:00 pm and they already had our table set for us even though we showed up a few minutes early. The hostess was amazing, so kind and very attentive. Our server was awesome and was attentive to our needs. We ordered the topaz and garnet (I believed) sangrias, they were amazing! We also ordered the whipped feta and as promised by staff and many reviewers, it was absolutely amazing. The food obviously took a little longer than most places but we don’t mind because of the quality of the food so far.
My boyfriend ordered braised lamb bolognese and I ordered the boeuf bourguignon. We enjoyed the scenery outside, outdoor patio was gorgeous and offered enough shade from the sun. The waiter had also continuously asked if we were comfortable and when I requested to the have the umbrella closer to shade our table, he did it happily. When our orders came out, they had accidentally made the ragú in stress of the lamb bolognese. The waiter apologized and said that the lamb dish will be out shortly so we got the ragú on the house. So quick to fix mistakes or concerns. We also got to choose a free dessert because it was our anniversary.
We will definitely be coming again. Food was amazing, read a few other reviews and definitely have to disagree on the food being “bland”. Come and enjoy a special dinner date here you won’t regret it!

I wouldn’t go to this place in a heartbeat or recommend someone. It’s very small place a little too tight. The service is really slow even after it just has limited spaces.
Coming to the food the whipped feta is great appetizer. We ordered the chicken pasta and pasta with tomato basil well both the dishes lacked flavor it was way too bland no salt or pepper when the customer pays $30 for a main course maybe a little more effort is required. It’s way too pricey and not worth all the cost.
I would go to other places if it’s the choice

This place has a lot of potential, and I hope to give it 5 stars in the future! The staff was great, and the whipped feta appetizer is AMAZING. I could have eaten another entire dish of it.
I had the beef bourguingnon and it was good, but a little on the dry side for the price point. My husband had the cioppino, and it was also good but parts of it were over cooked as well. I think these are things that will work themselves out over time and if so, this will be an excellent addition to Boise’s restaurant scene.

The atmosphere is different than any place i’ve tried in Boise. Intimate yet very inviting. We loved the staff— they were very detailed and ensured we were taken care of. The food was spectacular! We had tried the whipped feta as a starter— AHH-MAZING. My husband ordered the seasonal penne and I ordered the boeuf bourguignon— it was tasty and presented so well. Also let’s not forget the dessert. We got the espresso cheesecake. Ugh wish I would’ve ordered one to go. Such a fun and beautiful experience we had. We’ll surely be back ☺️

My husband and I went for our anniversary and loved the outdoor dining. The food was delicious, we will order the whipped feta every time we visit. We also love trying new non- alcoholic beverages and the Tè All’ibisco was our favorite.
