The atmosphere was so nice and laid back. They had live music (on the patio) which was off the water and the food was amazing! The service was top notch as well. I would definitely visit this place again!

I generally rate based on the scale expected. So, for a $50+ per person restaurant, I didn’t feel I got my money’s worth. The best part was the bread with homemade pesto, oil & vinegar — it was delicious. The rest was really not what I hoped for. We had the seafood alfredo (only a few pieces of seafood in it and nothing different about the sauce or noodles than at other restaurants), walleye was good, and the mushroom risotto was pretty good. The bourbon salmon was okay, again not better than other less expensive restaurants. The side of wild rice was very salty and pretty dry. The green beans were oily and a couple I couldn’t chew they were so tough. I loved the view of the water — that was lovely!

I was visiting traverses Michigan for work and decide to eat here with a friend. The environment and location of the Apache trout grill is nice! Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the menu, a video of the dock area and live music being played but it was nice. I ordered the bourbon glazed salmon that came with rice and asparagus. It was good! Very flavorful and good portion size. My friend ordered the perch sandwich I believe or the Ruben with sweet potato fries haha I can’t remember what it was but it was also very good.

We enjoyed the appetizer smoked whitefish dip, side Caesar salad, French onion soup and pan seared scallops. We had excellent service and a wonderful view and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We just pulled in the parking lot on a whim and I’m so happy we did. Great food on the Brunch Buffet and extraordinary service!

Come for the food, but don’t miss out on the view outside with live music on the water (drinks only served out here).

The menu offered lots of local fish and cherry flavors. The shrimp tacos and French onion soup were delicious. Our server did a nice job with our party of 10 and was extremely attentive.

Great service and delicious food. I had the salmon and my husband the 24 oz rib eye steak, he took home some of it. Both dishes were yummy. The ribeye was market price and it was $$$ ringing it at $80, well worth it but it’s a place you go to eat knowing you will be splurging quite a bit. There are no reservations but there is an online wait list you can get on closer to the time you want to dine.

Vibe was beautiful outside! Must try the cherry mojito. Bummer you aren’t able to eat outside. Was nice listening to live music, sipping on a drink while waiting for our table though!

The shrimp and lobster bisque was great. The fish was cooked nicely but the sides were meh and everything, except the soup, was way overpriced. On top of that, though our waitress was very nice, we had to get up and get napkins and silverware and to get water refilled. It wasn’t personal, she was absent-minded with other tables. I am not sure why this place merits the long lines. The Burrow across the street was better and slightly less pricey
