Mark 16:16 RUN TO THE WATER
If you like yourself you will make the drive and check this place out. I had one of the best steaks I have had in a LONG TIME!!! the egg rolls are so good and the atmosphere is banger. The open fire grill is so cool and makes such a difference on how the steaks taste. We will be back. The waitress Maria was so attentive and really made the meal even better.

This is my “special occasion” place! We live about half an hour from there. It’s a little hidden, so you definitely have to know about it. The food is spot on and cooked to the T just the way your order it. You can even watch the open flame oven through the kitchen cutout and watch all the steaks being cooked! I love the decor, as I am also native. The staff are friendly and very attentive!

We enjoyed our visit here. It just reopened recently. We went on a Thursday night. Loved the atmosphere. It was a slower night. The service was perfect. I don’t remember our servers name but she was great! It’s byob right now while they are trying to obtain their TABC license. The Steakhouse and ice house are in separate buildings, and she said the ice house should be opening once they get the TABC worked out. We loved how we could see the steaks being cooked on an open flame right in view. We chose to sit where we could see everything happening in the kitchen. They do have a nice patio area overlooking a pond. I didn’t get pics of that because it was dark out when we were there. My son ordered his ribeye rare and mine med rare. They both came out med rare. He was okay with that but he would’ve preferred it rare. The flavor was good and it was a nice cut of ribeye. I really wanted to love the southwest egg rolls. And they would have been perfect, but the cook fried them, cut them, and then put them back in the fryer. I watched this process. They came out burnt and extra greasy. I work in a restaurant, you should NEVER cut something open and put back in the fryer. Had they not done that, they would have been perfect. I hope the owner reads this and addresses this because I LOVE SW egg rolls. The loaded fries were good but could use a bit more cheese and bacon. Also I love crispy Brussels but they need some type of sauce on them. A sweet w/ a little bit of spice sauce is always nice on fried Brussels. The side salad was nice and fresh. The CFS was good. We will be coming back, as they are new and working out the kinks. It’s def worth giving it another try. I’ll update this review after my next visit.

The food was amazing. We met the owner a few weeks before we went, he explained to us how the cook there ribeyes and we just had to try it. We were not disappointed. Great smoke flavor and cooked just right. My husband had the hamburger steak which was very good. We definitely plan on going back.

This is a review on the steakhouse. My husband and I came here for dinner last Saturday after reading glowing reviews. I was surprised to find them not busy at all. I thought the ambience was nice. It is cool to be able to see into the open kitchen.
We ordered a calamari for our app. Straight away, we can tell it’s not made in house. It’s store bought. It’s isn’t terrible but if you are going to serve me food out of a box, I may as well make it myself at home.
I ordered the cat fish with salad and grilled squash. My husband had the aged grilled rib eye (they claimed aged for 23 days), with wedge salad and loaded smashed potato.
Our entrees came BEFORE our salads. They didn’t give my husband the wedge salad he ordered. I thought my cat fish entree was decent. My husband’s steak turned out horrible. He ordered medium, it turned out well done. It was like beef jerky. The waitress offered to take it off our check or put in another order. We didn’t have time to wait for another steak so we just try to gnaw on it.
For a nice restaurant, it is an eyesore to see them serve condiments in plastic cups. Looks cheap to me.
The waitresses were very attentive, stopping by our table very frequently. Until we wanted our check, nobody came by for at least 20 min. We finally had to flag someone down.
All in all, our dining experience was very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend it. Wouldn’t come back again.

Great food at Apache Pass. Call ahead for reservations though because this is a very popular place at times. They have everything from burgers and hot wings on one side and steaks over in the steak house.
When the weather is nice, you can also explore the entire area and see the actual pass that the Indians traveled.

This place is amazing! We went on Thursday night when they had $20 ribeye steak special. Love the atmosphere and the amazing steak/smoke smell that fills the restaurant. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot, but they must have been in the icehouse because the restaurant had a hand full of people in it.

Great atmosphere, steaks were awesome. Highly recommend. Restaurant on one side bar on the other, and when weather is nice, live music on an outdoor stage. Great place. Unfortunately this restaurant as closed as of June 2022. I believe the icehouse is still open, & the restaurant side is only available to rent for special occasions. Thursday ribeye $20 special was excellent. Under new management.
