Went for a birthday lunch and had an amazing plate of food for great value. Also got a nice fried bowl of fried ice cream on the house. Extremely clean and baby friendly. This will definitely be a part of my restaurant rotation

A little pricey, but has good sushi. Sashimi lunch special bento box is good. Includes Miso soup, california roll, goyoza, rice, and salad. $18. $26 by the time you are done with tax and tip. Next time had the Teriyaki Salmon box. Very good. Good Hot and Sour soup.

Be careful to order sushi or a standard Japanese entree at this Chinese/Japanese restaurant. If not you may be in trouble, as we experienced the non-Japenese entrees can be very bad, and the staff will not agree with you.

We ordered the Japanese entree Beef Udon and the non-Japaneae entree baked “Black Bass” at the restaurant, just because it looked attractive on the menu, and our server agreed with our choice. The Udon entree was delicious, and even had very nicely marinated and cooked beef as well as a rich tasty broth. Unfortunately, the “Black Bass” entree was the opposite, as it was not fresh, and not cooked well, with a mushy consistency. When we complained that we found the non-Japanese entree sub-par to the server she told us she would let the manager know. She then told us the manager disagreed with our complaint and would not remove the entree, but would give us a free dessert. We agreed and received the smallest “free” dessert we have ever seen, which was three small soup spoons with a small scoop of ice cream on each spoon.

Beware going to this restaurant if you may consider ordering non-Japanese.

I love this place.
The salad is always fresh and finger dressing is delicious also
teriyaki .sauce is delicious and not too salty.
I like the rolls because they have just the right amount of rice.

Have been coming here for years. This used to be the best sushi around, unfortunately the last 3 times we have ordered it has been terrible. The fish doesn’t taste fresh, the spicy yellowtail is mushy and not freshly made any longer, the shrimp tempura rolls are no longer freshly made and rolled. When I requested a fresh one, I was given a reheated microwaved mushy roll! Completely unacceptable. The salmon sushi piece I ordered was not a nice piece of fish. The gyoza seemed to be reheated and was tasteless. This was just the latest disappointing meal and also the last. The manager was not interested in my constructive complaints and did not seem to mind losing a customer. I am very disappointed to lose what was a favorite eats spot.

Very disappointing food considering the inflated prices. I would expect this level of quality from a mall food court, not from a well known high-end Japanese/Chinese restaurant. The shrimp was so mushy, I could barely eat it. How could you screw up a basic Chinese shrimp with vegetables dish? I can make a better shrimp stir fry at home. The other entree was bland with no sauce so we had to dump soy sauce all over it. Two out of three sushi rolls were okay. One of the premium rolls had an undetermined topping on it (a strange substitution for what was supposed to be on it per the menu). I did not appreciate that surprise when paying $18 for this roll. We will not be back.

Best Chinese & Japanese I’ve had, from their green tea with toasted brown rice to their soups, their general Tso is always a good balance of spice to sweet, very accommodating with gluten allergy for my partner. They are always nice and we tend to catch going once a week at this point, very good every time

First time, last time. The only thing good was the sushi roll. Miso Soup was horrible, yellowtail app was horrible, main entree was decent at best. Overpriced for subpar food. Takeout service was great and good looking spot but wouldn’t ever go back. Take the ride somewhere else.
