I was so pleasantly surprised by how excellent the sushi was! I got the Aoki sushi set and the fish was fantastic. A great deal for the price given how high quality the fish was. Can’t wait to come back!

Portions are great for the price. They have plenty of options if you have guest that dont like raw fish. Sushimi sampler was large and the cuts were generous. My friends really enjoyed the volcano roll.

Ordered the aji fry (horse mackerel fish) for $9, and salmon collar. The aji was perfectly crunchy and fried without being too greasy – highly recommend. Didn’t come with rice or lettuce as it was served as an appetizer, so I’d suggest ordering those separately if you’re looking for a meal!
Salmon collar was supposed to be grilled but appeared deep fried. Still delicious, just sharing for other seafood lovers.
For the price, drinks (good sake selection) and ambience, it was very worth it – hidden gemstone in Cap Hill, and fairly spacious (6+ tables with counter area that could easily seat 6+ ppl). Would be happy to come back.

Started with Agedashi Tofu, it was good. Tamago nigiri was ok, but the Unagi nigiri was the star of the meal. So flavorful and melted right in my mouth. Delicious!

Quite nicely decorated restaurant with reasonably priced meal options. Staff were attentive and courteous.
Miso soup was a bit saltier than should have been but with good flavor and portion. The rest of the orders were good, with larger portions in general than typical. I would suggest using a slightly higher oil temperature for the fried food to make it crisper and less oily.

The food serving size and prices are really good. I ordered the chicken tonkatsu bento, and it was a really good dinner. However, the service was bad. I kept waiting really long minutes away from ordering my food, getting my water refilled, and paying my check. After placing my order, the server also pulled the menu card so quickly that it hit my face. They seem to be severely short staffed.

Ok sushi place. I had the sushi bento – sashimi taste pretty fresh, but the California rolls were just ok. My boyfriend had the sea serpent roll, which is cooked spicy tuna, was not very good. Appetizers were ok as well.
One complaint was that they told us as we sat down that they will charge 20% service fee, but they didn’t remind us as we paid another 18% (forgot that 20% has already been added). The waitress watched as we paid the extra tip, and only when I asked they confirmed that 20% was already added. What I can say is that the service definitely not worth 41.6% of tips.

Delicious sashimi, kimono and caterpillar rolls! We wanted sushi that does not contain mayonnaise to taste the authentic flavors of Japan and was able to find it here. Very tasty and the presentation is lovely. The waiter was also very nice to us.
