We came for dinner and had a somewhat good experience. The decor was cute, and the service was quick. We ordered the spicy General Tsao’s chicken, Thai basil chicken with a fried egg, ahi tuna poke bowl, midnight tsunami sushi roll, pad see ewe with chicken, Vietnamese home style pho, and Huli Huli chicken poke bowl. The food was good, but the spice levels were mild at best, despite us asking for multiple dishes to be extra spicy. Our server was also somewhat rude to us. Additionally, there was a 20% service charge calculated into the bill already, but this service charge took 20% of the total bill including tax, which is not the typical way to calculate the service charge. We were somewhat caught off guard by the bill, as this wasn’t explicitly disclosed to us, and we realized this on our own after leaving the restaurant. We may still return, but only because the food was good.

I really liked this place! We went here on a Friday evening (we did have a reservation) and it was fairly busy, but still tables were available. The interior was nicely decorated and the food was really amazing! We got the short rib (for the price, I guess we expected more), the bbq beef poke bowl and the pork ribs. Everything was very flavorful, service was quick and I would definitely recommend this place!

Loved the indoor decor and ambience. My friends thought I was in Hawaii after seeing my pics! The place is so cozy and such a great find in the hustle bustle of Chicago city. We got pad Thai which was a little too sweet. My husband got the sea food platter and was pleased with the quantity and quality. Price is reasonable too.

Just came here with my boyfriend. It was our last meal in Chicago. Ambiance was fine; a bit cheesy but I can appreciate it. The food was not good. Not THAT bad, but also not good. I’d give the food a 4/10. We ordered beef and chicken “poke” bowls and crab rangoons. Came out very quickly and tasted artificial and low quality. Overpriced. The digital menu is also not the easiest to navigate and not user-friendly. They could improve that aspect.

The Pina colada was creamy and tasty. My wife didn’t like the sangria, maybe it was a bit bitter. She had spicy noodle soup, wasn’t spicy at all but the seafood tasted fresh, especially the soft shell crab. I got the kalbi plate, the meat was tender and marinated well, more rice would have been nice. The tuna roll was good. Overall, I’ll come back to try the other dishes.

Well worth a visit – even and especially as they are working through staffing issues.

The atmosphere is a great little city escape. It’s a good spot to go with family, friends or date night. The pork belly tacos were absolutely delicious! They have good drinks and only one draft beer selection (Sapporo).

Very nice hawaiian themed restaurant. The Coco-licious passionfruit pina colada with rum was delicious. Servers were very nice. Seating was not long. Food was typical but tasty. We will visit again

Looking for a restaurant to dine al fresco for the birthday. Decided to give it a try and was pleased with the decision. Good food, service and atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating.
