The best spot for cocktails in montrose (with the possible exception of Refuge upstairs). Always hopping but the high service model will allow you to get a proper cocktail quickly even when they are busy. It gets progressively louder as the night wears on. I usually like to go for their amazing happy hour where they have all of their “100 list” at half price. The signature cocktail “Pliny’s tonic” is always a winner.

Excellent cocktail bar. Five of us went at HH and wow, we got our money’s worth and more for some incredible cocktails. I tried the Vieux Carré, Godfather and a seasonal special with egg nog. I liked them all but the Godfather was my fav.

Top notch bar. The staff there are the best mixologists I’ve encountered. They go through a LOT of rigorous and technical training and they don’t just accept anybody. High standards and great ambience with an warm casual environment. I have never been disappointed here, nor has what I wanted from a drink been misunderstood or not clarified. As a bartender myself I can get picky, but they sure hit it on the head every time.

Hands down the Best Espresso Martini I’ve had in all the states I’ve visited! I’m from Houston, but recently went on a trip touching numerous states, and I can honestly say this is The Best! Bartenders are friendly, attentive, and as quick as possible – it was surprisingly busy for 2pm on a Saturday! The hubs thoroughly enjoyed his Old Fashion as well! We’ll definitely back for more!

Super cute bar but Grey was the worst bartender. My group loves Bobby Heugel’s bars so we expected much better from our experience. We’ll stick to Better Luck Tomorrow. I honestly don’t know how she’s employed there. I’ll try it again in a month but won’t order if she’s behind the bar.
Love their seasonal cocktails, they never disappoint. 4.5 for atmosphere! 5 stars for menu. Gray just ruined our experience and I was embarrassed bringing out of town people here after talking it up. They won’t be returning when they’re back for the rodeo days they’re returning for or FIFA.

Great drinks and great service. This bar offers some of the best cocktails in the city. All their bartenders are true professionals and even with it getting very busy do provide great service.
The only downside about this place it is kind of small especially with how busy this place can get. You might have to stand to enjoy your drink but you will still have a great time.

Heard great things about this bar and been wanting to check it out for a while. A business trip finally made it possible and it did not disappoint! It is a BAR: not a sports bar, not a dive bar, not a speakeasy, not a gastro pub, but a BAR. Great drinks and service, staring with a welcome from every bartender. There should be a separate drinks subcategory (not just food—very limited menu but solid)—5 stars for drinks, too. And 6 stars for Mabel!
