Anupam: The Best Indian Restaurant Experience in Malvern
Reviews
As a starter I ordered Tandoori Chicken: Very attractive presentation and just the right meat size. Succulent inside, with perfect Tandoori flavours on the outside. One cannot do any better than this!
For the mains, Chicken Vindaloo: I do like my curries hot, but depending on the restaurant, it is sometimes not spicy enough, whereas at other times you feel like the inside of your mouth is burning, so that you’re unable to actually feel the taste. This Vindaloo was definitely spicy, make no mistake, but not in an overpowering sense. It was as if I could taste the individual mix of spices in a perfect blend.
Very nice touch: The food warmer to keep the dishes hot at the table. I haven’t seen these in a very long time, although this makes so much sense, as you want to enjoy a curry by eating slowly, and not having to hurry because it’s getting cold.
The naan: Absolute perfection, both in taste, consistency and also visually!
Service was great.
Nice atmosphere, on the formal side, but not stuffy at all.
There is absolutely nothing I can fault in this great place!
The service was prompt, friendly and efficient.
I have to say all the food was delicious but I had the chicken
Mirch Wali Murgh which was one of the finest meals I have ever tasted.
We also decided on onion fried rice instead of pilau which was also delicious.
Thank you so much for a lovely evening
We will be back!
I had a chicken tikka masala
And my partner had a korma both of our curry’s had a film on top of. Once we had broken the film and mixed the film into it. Was all lumpy and just didn’t taste very nice at all. I only live around the corner from the restaurant so definitely isn’t from traveling Chicken was very chewy and hard.
I wouldn’t recommend another take away. And I won’t be going again.
We were greeted nicely and got sat down quickly.
The restaurant was almost empty with lots of Staff however we somehow got forgotten in the corner and after 30 minutes wait I had to go to the main desk to order food…
The initial impression was somehow tainted but when food arrived we were blown away as we ordered sharing vegie platter and it was exquisite! We savoured every bite.
Very generous quantity of chicken but… Wow! I was very impressed by the taste. One of the greatest Indian dishes I ever tried. Their Naan bread was delicious, too.
