Now let’s talk about the food — INSANE is the only word. Everything was unbelievably fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The portions were massive — the pasta dishes could easily feed 2–3 people each. Our server surprised us with complimentary garlic rolls, which were warm, buttery, and delicious.
For appetizers, we ordered the leaning tower of fried eggplant, calamari, meatballs, and mozzarella, and every single one was fantastic. The eggplant tower was the clear standout — you HAVE to get it. Hands-down one of the best starters we’ve ever had.
For entrées, our table ordered the pappardelle Marsala, rigatoni Marsala, chicken parm, crab ravioli, beef sandwich, and an antipasto salad, and every single dish was outstanding, they even came with huge side salads. You could truly taste how fresh everything was.
On top of all of that, the service was phenomenal — genuinely some of the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. Our server, Charity, went above and beyond, making my mom feel celebrated and the entire evening feel special.
Thank you so much for helping make my mom’s birthday such a memorable and wonderful night. We’re already planning our next outing here and will absolutely be back!
As a customer, I also felt brushed off and dismissed when I asked a simple question. Instead of receiving help, I was met with impatience and attitude. It’s clear that when workers are treated poorly, it affects the entire environment and ultimately the customer experience as well. I will not be returning, and I hope the business reevaluates how it treats both its staff and its customers. Respect goes a long way, and this place seriously lacks it.
Nice place inside, definitely an improvement from the previous owners. They have their own craft beer which is priced like hidden river but not as good as sly fox, definitely nowhere near Sunset Hill. The service was great with plenty of wait staff to help. The food was ok, a little pricey but what isn’t anymore. They’re still working things out so hopefully they figure it out.
