Stopped in to grab a quick lunch on my way to go skiing and had a great meal. Food was great! Atmosphere and wait staff was top notch. Reminded me of the dinners I would visit 30 years ago where the wait staff would engage in conversation with you and seemed to care you came to their restaurant. That seems to be a lost art these days. Had such a good experience I stopped back on Sunday on my way out of the area for breakfast. Amazing huge pancakes and again a great wait staff. The young waitress with having a great time with some guys that were in town snowmobiling. Overall a great experience both visits and will be back the next time I pass through the area!

Went in and the place looked very welcoming as someone not from around the area. Found comfortable seats with a good view of the street, spacing between sections could use a bit of use but that’s about it. The time it took for the food was very fast considering the amount of employees and we got served by the nicest lady I’ve ever seen. The food tasted like if heaven could be personified on a platter. Overall would highly recommend if your driving by.

OMG, what an oasis of good ol’ diner food! Wife and I stopped in for breakfast late September. Linda, our server, was a queen. Guided me toward the egg & waffle brekkie, with ham. So good. My wife had a couple eggs, bacon, etc….and was very pleased. Don’t miss this place if you’re passing through Bergland!

I was camping on lake gogebic and it was too windy for me to cook so I stopped in here. I missed breakfast but they were still serving coffee. The waitress kept the coffee flowing even tho it was busy and she was the only person working. I got an order of mozzarella sticks and a grilled veggie sandwich with fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend stopping in, it was great food and even better service.

Thankfully the place down the road didn’t work out so we decided on this spot instead! Small town, homey and friendly vibes. Food was great and we didn’t have to wait long at all. Great service!

We went to another place close by that said we couldn’t have a dog on the deck even though another couple had their dog on deck. We then asked if we could get something to go and they said they were too busy so we departed and came here. So glad we did! My relative wanted the mini tacos for here while we waited for our food to go. I got the jumbo hamburger that was served on French Bread. My relative got the Bacon Ranch pizza. She gave me a slice. It was primo pizza. Also got a couple cookies. They were tasty. So glad the other place refused us because this place was great!

Linda is EXCELLENT. Makes you feel welcomed and right at home. Pancakes and french toast were AMAZING. Big portions. Always stop when we are in the area and always good. Pizza is excellent as well.
