Order the pizza and eat it there. Once pizza gets cold in a box the crust gets compromised. You will need to reaheat to get it crispy. (You are welcome ) I ordered the Margarita and ate it after a few minutes so the heat and cheese could settle. The cheese is perfecto. Just like NY mozzarella I had all my years up north. The sauce is delicious. Seriously, the pizza is soooo good. Antonio’s oven cooks pizza in 90 seconds. I want to try all of his toppings and more of his menu. I will be going back.Not a fancy place. BUT if you are in the mood for good pizza. Antonio’s place to go. Family friendly all the way. I’m 1st generation Italian, from NY. Rarely do I give a good pizza review or may have never actually outside of NY.

We came to Antonio’s Pizza Pit after a long day of walking, touring and doing a museum day in Sarasota. We were a pretty big group with lots of hungry children and adults. Emphasis on the hungry. Definitely came to the right place!
When you first pull up, you can’t really tell what you’re getting into since from the outside it’s pretty unassuming. Well, you’re definitely in for a surprise.
Not only is this a pizza shop but also your dessert spot! Hear me out: pizza AND donuts??? What other combo (besides bread and nutella) could there be??
Their personal pizza is the perfect size for you to enjoy alone (esp if you’re hungry) but can also be shared if you’re saving room for a craft donut. We were pretty hungry and each ordered a pizza: Quattro formaggi and a margherita (only $10). The pizza here is made only with the freshest ingredients and it’s for sure some of the best authentic Italian pizza you will eat in the area.
The place is simple: you order at the register, wait for Antonio to make his magic and sit at one of the tables. No waiters, no fuzz, just delicious high quality pizza.
Absolutely obsessed with this place, our huge group loved it and it’s absolutely worth every bite. From the labor of love it’s made with to the ingredients to the caffè at the end. Be sure to save space for a donut from Jack’s Donuts, they share counter space and you’ll thank me later 🙂

We ordered two pizzas — a classic pepperoni and one “with the works” — and both were OUTSTANDING. The flavor was incredible, the crust was perfectly baked (crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside), and the toppings were generous and fresh. Every bite was packed with flavor. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into each pizza.
The pepperoni had the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and crispy-edged pepperoni, and the works pizza was loaded — not skimpy at all — with toppings evenly distributed so you get everything in every slice. No soggy middle, no bland bites — just amazing pizza from start to finish.
What made the experience even better was the hospitality. The owner, Antonio, personally welcomed us as soon as we walked in, which instantly made us feel at home. The pizza came out quickly, the service was attentive and friendly, and the entire experience felt authentic and welcoming.
Honestly, there is nowhere else I would want to go in Sarasota for pizza. This is our spot from now on. If you’re in town and craving incredible pizza with top-notch customer service, Antonio’s Pizza Pit is it. Absolute 10/10.

Antonio is in the rareified air of the top 5 pizza makers in the country. In reality his calzone and sandwiches are even better than his pizzas. A must try! He uses fresh ingredients and his dough is straight from Naples the birthplace of pizza and his grandmother’s recipe. If you like authentic neapolitan pizza over Dominoes and processed pizzas than you will love this place!

We wanted to try a new pizza spot in Sarasota Florida so we came for dinner at Antonio’s after searching for pizza places on Google. 10/10 would recommend the pizza was made fast right in front of you with such fresh amazing ingredients! The owner was awesome to talk to you can tell he cares about the quality of his food! We got two margarita pizzas and a sandwich. Our kids loved it! We for sure want to come more often! It was also reasonably priced. Such a hidden gem in Sarasota!

We just moved from Sarasota and one of the SRQ pleasures we will truly miss is Antonio’s Pizza Pit. We were thrilled when Antonio left Atmosphere and opened the Pizza Pit down the road from us on Lockwood Ridge. His pizzas became a weekend staple for us. Extremely fresh ingredients (a margherita + a pepperoni pie were our usual items) made in the Neopolitan pizza style. And Antonio is just the nicest young ragazzo (guy) whose cheerful demeanor is such a welcome thing in this day and age. Lile Antonio, my family is also originally from Caserta, Italy so we made a great connection. I strongly recommend you support this local gem of a business and entrepreneur. Grazie mille, Antonio!

$10 for a real deal pizza margherita, are you kidding me?? What an absolute steal!! I mean listen, if it’s between a fast food combo meal and this place, you’d be silly not to go here instead. Your pizza will be ready in literally 90 seconds, and it’s all made with imported, high quality Italian ingredients! Plus, everyone knows that Italian flour is much easier to digest than most pizza places in the US. Antonio was born and raised in Naples, Italy, and is literally the guy that’s going to make your pizza. Plus he’s been at it here in Sarasota for 8 years. On top of all that, now I have a new friend to practice my awful Italian with lol. It doesn’t get much more authentic than this baby, you gotta try it.

By far the best pizza in Sarasota! Bursting with flavor in every bite. Personal size margarita pizza was only $10 with so many fresh ingredients you can add to make it your own. You get to watch while the master pizzaoli Antonio makes the pizza fresh with love! Ready in 90 seconds! Breakfast pizzas were also available in the morning to go along with a tasty donut from Jacks Donuts! The perfect spot! Will deff be back!
