Just had a wonderful dinner. Celebrating my Mother’s 93rd birthday. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and very attentive server, Maggie. Will definitely recommend to friends and will return.

The food was wonderful! That’s about it. The drinks were okay, and there aren’t many options if you don’t drink wine. It smelled old or dirty in the restaurant although my mom insisted it was the cheese, I don’t agree. Very understaffed on the floor as many people stood at the front door waiting for someone to acknowledge them. Our waitress was probably one of two for the whole restaurant it seemed. The food was awesome, and I’m sure the service is better on a slower night, but I wasn’t impressed.

One of the hidden gems in the Pointes. I always leave Antonio’s in the Park with a full belly and the feeling that I just had the best Italian home cooked meal. You must try the breaded artichoke hearts! Dressings and sauces will dance from your lips to your taste buds! Have a couple glasses of wine and enjoy the conversation with the locals. The staff are warm and friendly. Old world charm on the eastside. If you haven’t been here yet, all I can ask is Why?

Food was as always good! But we made reservations and it was a total mix up for my Birthday as soon as we walked in the door! I walked in and said we had reservations for three under Gordon, G-O-R-D-O-N. Our party and I would like to sit in the room away from the bar. She said no that was not possible. So we began walking towards the table with the reserved sign on it (as she was saying we only have a two top in here). As we approached the larger table with the reserved sign on it, she stopped us! That’s reserved for reservations! As we all turned around at the same time and said! WE HAVE A RESERVATION! Oh I’m sorry I didn’t hear you that you had a reservation. Ugh…

5 different meals ordered, each one better than the last! And our server was ever so considerate. She even brought me a cup of hot water to wrap my cold, white fingers around. That was sweet!

I chose this restaurant because we just landed from LAX and after taking my wife’s parents up Jefferson to see the city for the first time, there was nothing around. I was excited to show them some excellent Detroit Italian. The food was a huge disappointment. I will pretty much eat any food, animal, whatever…but the low quality of food made me worried I was going to get sick. I didn’t, but the ingredients and flavors pointed in that direction. Mother-in-law’s lasagna came out cold, then reheated and still cold, so it was abandoned. Server was awesome, and tried his best. I grabbed 4 slice’s of Buscemi’s Pizza when we left. I hope it was just a bad day but honestly in the 26 years I spent growing up in the area, this was the worst Italian I ever had
