Antonino’s Italian Restaurant – Manhasset
This is my go-to spot whenever I feel like having a solid, decent meal. The salmon with steamed vegetables always hits the spot—especially the vegetables. They’re steamed to perfection with just the right texture and timing. The chicken parmesan with garlic oil is another favorite, and even the welcome bread (made fresh on-site) is something I look forward to every time.

I’ve dined here multiple times and enjoyed it every single visit. The staff have that perfect balance—attentive but never pushy, professional but warm. If you know what I mean, you’ll feel it right away. Definitely one of those local gems you keep coming back to.

Updated: The owner called as soon as he saw the review to apologize. Explained that he was off and wouldn’t have allowed for them to dismiss me so easily with such a terrible excuse as “that’s just how we make pizza” he promised to refund me and send me another order of different items to try as he believes in happy customers being the best for the business. Things like these are valuable to me and imagine anyone that likes to believe the best in people. Let’s have faith that owners like this exist all around and care about their customers just as much as they care about their products and employees! The lentil soup is delicious, I especially love it with lemon as it gives it the perfect amount of zing. Definitely consider giving them a try, they will work with you to make your craving dreams come true! If you are vegan like me you will also find plenty of accommodations.

Original Review: TERRIBLE! ORDERED TO NORTH SHORE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL AND IMMEDIATELY REGRETTED SPENDING $45 ON THIS! One large pie with paper thin pizza bread, COLD and DRY?!!!! One tiny soup for 8.50 that wasn’t even real minestrone also COLD with almost no broth! The bread for the soup was old and smelled terribly old, how does someone do something like that and just DOESN’T CARE?!!!!They sent extra sauce but honestly it was just terrible food that was definitely over priced. Honestly should’ve trusted my gut feeling but was just starving so much. No worth it at all though. Being hungry with $45 dollars more in my pocket would’ve been better then this what was sent! Save yourself the trouble.

We’ve been dining at Antonio over a decade and it used to be our go-to place. Lately portions got smaller. Service is friendly and overall ambiance is good!
Fried calamari is still our favorite.

I had an amazing experience at Antonino’s Italian Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and made with such care. The portions were perfect for one person, just the right amount to enjoy without feeling too full. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was great. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

I ordered from this place a few time. The pizza is my favorite. I like the thin crust. I give their pizza a 5 star. I would give most of their entrees a 3 star because most of their food is usually kinda dry and lack taste. Today, I decided to order meatballs with spaghetti. I figure you can’t go wrong with a simple dish. It was the Worst MEATBALLS I ever had. It has the texture and consistency of dog food. It’s so dry and taste powdery. Doesn’t taste like meat. Whoever is the chef who made the meatball should be fired. I hope they would change the ingredients of the meatball. It’s not editable at all. I spent $18 for meatballs with spaghetti that I can’t even eat.

Small but cozy space with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Mostly street parking very little on property parking. Restaurant is located on a very busy intersection.

went on a Saturday night with my girlfriend. I must say , this place is underrated. Id give it a go! Even tho its technically not a restaurant, the food was very delicious. One thing we noted was , the waiter left the grated cheese on table which we loved. Had a great time ! Prices were very reasonable

I wanted lasagna and pizza. It really hit the spot for me. The lasagna was hearty and delicious. I added a touch more cheese. It was just what I needed on this cold rainy evening.

I would never order from this place again I ordered..
a chicken parm hero the bread taste old and wasn’t toasted at all

Mozzarella sticks they were not cooked & discolored not even hot

The baked clams were not hot

The baked raviolis were all over the place

The two cokes were even warm

You guys are literally .7 miles from the hospital how is everything cold except the cokes ? smh 60 dollars what a waste of money yes the delivery was quick but I’d rather you take the time to make the food the right way then rush it out to me and have it like this horrible at this point I’m thinking I should have just stuck to the hospital food. I wouldn’t even give one star but I have no choice. Smh
