Not sure what “Chirmol” is yet, but this Pork Chirmol, #4 on their Sunday menu, is delicious.

We came looking for El Sazón de la Abuela, but it seems to have closed. Tried this place instead—unfortunately, the food was bland and the rice tasted like it came from a box. Disappointing.

Of the 3 Guatemalan restaurants in this area, this one has the best tortillas. They are thick, fresh, and hot. The pepian de pollo is good. I like the whole black beans. I have to disagree with the negative review about the rice. I thought the rice was nice and soft. I liked that we were able to get glasses of water. My only complaint was that the music was a little too loud when they turned it on.

Not sure if it’s because they’re starting. But the food was not good. We ordered A churrasco the meat was dry, and the rice felt like it was rice from the box, not homemade rice. Little disappointed because I love Guatemalan food. I was very excited to have one close by to where I live. Not very good! :(((

Friendly staff with limited English (but they’ll try if you need them to). Note this place is cash only. No real menu available, not sure if that’s just for now or what… unfortunately found my beef a little too dry and flavored just ok. It was served with rice and what seemed to be a mayonnaise based pasta and other sides (see pic)…
