The food is delicious, the pork, the rice and pigeon peas, the stewed chicken, the tres leches cake, the corn bread, all of it. The only thing holding it from 5 stars for me is that my lunch purchases aren’t always steady with protein portions. Once I bought two of the same pernil dishes and the one I gave my father ended up having about half the meat as mine, and I bought two stewed chicken meals it was only 4 small pieces in one and 3 pieces in the other, and even the 4 felt like too little for a meal. If they always had healthy sized and steady portions, I would give it 5 stars.

As a fellow Dominican I must say this food is not it. I NEVER write reviews but the food was horrible the rice was mushy ,the bean needed flavor , the chicharron de pollo was hard as a rock and the chicken needed flavor . The picadera was horrible . The empanada de pizza was even worse ! Save your money ! I’m sorry . But all our money went straight to garbage we had to order Chinese ♀️ so disappointed because I was excited to try this spot .

I didn’t know this place was here. The food is good, plenty for the price.
Tho the credit card fee is a little extensive on top of the service fee!? Plus the tax percent is not the rite one. Just keep an eye out for what you’re paying towards.

My meal from this place was so disappointing. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich, but what I received was anything BUT a Cuban sandwich.
It was made on a hoagie roll, with cold, boiled ham and pork roast that lacked any flavor. The sandwich did not contain any swiss cheese or pickles as is traditional on a Cuban. It did have huge chunks of lettuce and tomato which do not belong on a Cuban.
The worst part is that it was drowned in mayonnaise and ketchup…no, not mayoketchup which incidently also does not belong on a Cuban. No, this sandwich was drowning in mayo and ketchup heavily poured on separately on top of the salad! Just gross!
The sandwich was absolutely disgusting and nothing at all resembling a Cuban sandwich.
Message to the “Chef”: Please call this sandwich something else. Maybe just call it a Dominican sandwich. It is not a Cuban – not even close – and please don’t say this is your version of a Cuban. It’s simply not.

Not too sure about the high reviews, had to wait for food for about an hour. Mofongo impenetrable by fork. Oxtail tough as can be, same as fried chicken. Overall a huge disappointment.
