Excellent atmosphere, Service was very good. The restaurant is very clean, the Arepas with beef and no egg was my appetizer and it was very good. It had great flavor. The main entree was just okay. The rice was cold and bland. The beans were bland and had no flavor. The sausage was good and the steak that came on the plate had good flavor. The sweet plantains are good. Sad that they don’t serve sour cream. The juice drink I ordered was really good and not too overbearingly sweet. I would try them out again.

We visited Antojitos Colombianos 2 after a 3-hour drive from Charleston, hoping for a memorable Colombian meal. While the restaurant does take reservations, we were surprised to be the only ones there when we arrived.

The food was a mix of hits and misses. The tamal and bandeja paisa were flavorful and served in generous portions—a highlight. However, the mojarra frita was overly salty, which took away from the dish. Not so good~jasmine rice

Service was just OK—nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. Prices felt a bit high for the overall experience and setting. It’s also worth noting that the restaurant doubles as a nightclub, which might appeal to some but wasn’t a factor during our quiet visit.

Overall, a decent spot for Colombian cuisine if you’re nearby, but not quite worth a long trip based on our experience.

I order two sides of empanadas and one tamal,…it came to be $50!! Lol….that is crazy expensive! Almost feel abused lol. I rather go to Sachas next time and order basically the same thing and pay half the price.

No… just don’t waste your time.

The reviews here are from a previous restaurant that was here. The food, menu, atmosphere, and quality was completely different than what the reviews show.

Antojitos Colombianos 2 is a waste of time and not worth the visit.

Of all we ordered we only ate the empanadas. I order a chicken breast a la plancha it was dry with a weird garlic butter.

My wife ordered the fajitas at it was over seasoned and dry. Unfortunate experience, but the thing that set me completely for a loop was the explanation as to why basmati rice is used instead of traditional medium grain jasmine. The server informed me that Colombians like a dryer rice and American rices are naturally “mushy”. Fascinating theory.

Never coming back here. Save yourself the time and go across town to Salchipapas in GVL.

SUPER YUMMMMMM – the food was fresh and delicious – everything from the empanada appetizer to the main courses to the jugo de maracuyá. My mom and I enjoyed it very much. Cant wait to take my husband! The waitress said they will take reservations for groups – it’s recommended for peak times.
