Great little place. I had the huevos rancheros. The spicy eggs were better than I had expected. The plantains were cooked perfectly. The house made tortillas were so good. I will be going back and recommend you try this place.

You will find Antojitos Cafe Mi Terra in “Five Points” Cocoa, FL. However, in all the years it’s been called that, I’ve only seen four points. Anyway, this place is relatively new, having opened in July 2024 and bills itself as “authentic” Guatemalan cuisine. Guatemalan cuisine is a blend of Mayan and Spanish influences, with a heavy emphasis on the use of corn, beans and chilies as staples.

Yesenia is the owner, cook, counter help and service pro exemplar. The Streak stands at eight! I asked Yesenia for a Rosa de Jamaica hibiscus tea, Huevos con chorizo, along with an order of Pollo Asada. As I started using Google Translate in places such as this, ordering has become much easier for me, since my Spanish is non-existent, except for a few choice words not suitable for mixed company.

Yesenia bounced back to the kitchen and began preparing my order. I watched as she hand-rolled and fried each corn tortilla. This is a first for me. Yesenia finished her work in no time and returned her creations to my table. After snapping the requisite review pics, I got to work.

First up on the Big Boy’s palate was the Rosa de Jamaica hibiscus tea. This was crisp, slightly sweet and extremely interesting on the palate. Setting my drink aside, I plopped a forkful of the Huevos con chorizo into my pie hole and allowed it to melt around my taste buds. The eggs were cooked to perfection, but the chorizo was underwhelming. The star here is the homemade corn tortillas. Did I mention those?

After reluctantly putting the fresh, warm, scrumptious corn tortillas out of reach, I tried a bite of the Pollo Asada. Yesenia, who has mastered the art of tortilla making, is also a grill master. The chicken has the most glorious crispy skin I’ve had in a long time. The chicken was tender, juicy and popping with flavor. Well done, Yesenia!

The Big Boy says, “This restaurant is worth a try. Bring a healthy appetite, fresh taste buds and Google Translate.”

Unique store! I’ve personally never stumbled across a Hispanic café before, so this was a nice suprise to go into! As a Hispanic myself, I found the drinks and food incredibly authentic, very similar to what my own parents have made me as a child. I would 100 percent recommend to those who have not been here before, especially those with hispanic/Latino background! Will be here again soon!!!

Delicious, not bad pricing either. The Hawaiian shaved iced is what I ordered and it was worth every penny

The food smelled really good, but the service was not very friendly. I ended up walking out because I didn’t feel welcomed.
