Tasty and comfy, everything was VERY delicious and flavorful. I would definitely come back! Most of the staff seems friendly but I think my luck ran out today… this was my first time here and I didn’t know that the sandwiches come with a side (of salad or chips), the girl who took my order told me I could just get out of line if I didn’t know which side to get :c she didn’t even try to help or suggested anything :(((. After that we got our food and it was so DELICIOUS!!!! No complaints at all . Also very beautiful place

A hidden gem in plain sight. I love the eclectic items for sale. I visited on a Thursday morning before 10 am. The service and food are excellent. The employees made me feel welcome. I wasn’t sure about how I would like my breakfast sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was, as well as my coffee. This little cafe is cozy and reminds me of little places full of character and charm that I used to visit with my mother and grandmother. I have passed by this place many times visiting the zoo, park, ferry, marina, stairs n slides, etc. I am so glad I finally took the time to stop by and check this place out. It is family friendly and worth your visit. Be sure to walk across the street and check out The Jungle Fever Exotics Nursery before you leave. You might be surprised at what plants you end up taking home.

Food is standard sandwich fare but the real winner is the ambiance. You can order a full tea pot and hang out at one of many large tables.

Great food! Warm atmosphere! Nice women working here! I’m happy to find a place that still puts alphalpha sprouts on whole wheat sandwiches. Reminds me of the hippy food I grew up on

This place brings back memories! My dad was actually one of the volunteers who helped rebuild after the fire, and I remember coming here all the time for a 10 cent honey stick to munch on while I went off to play. Coming back 20 years later and it’s hardly changed at all. Still full of wonderful people, good food, and a cozy atmosphere. It’s nice to have places like this that withstand the test of time.

I finally stopped in and ordered a whole egg salad sandwich, and I have to say, I’ve never been this impressed by such a simple dish. The sandwich was fresh, the egg salad was flavorful without being too heavy, and everything just worked together perfectly. I also got a side salad, and the homemade ranch dressing was honestly one of the highlights. It had great flavor and tasted like they really put care into making it. The food here is solid, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more.

I’ve only ever had the turkey, sprouts, tomatoes and cheese with a salad that came with it and every single time it was delicious I don’t know why these other people are complaining. The food was great, the servers were kind and caring and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Plus I loved the homemade art by locals, it was a very pleasant experience for me ❤️

Food is pretty good. Homemade cafe items of sandwiches, quiche, soups & some daily specials. Reasonably priced. Counter service, you’ll get questions answered, be ready to order when you get up to it-don’t bother them & they won’t bother you. Very homey decorated café vibe with lots of stuff to look at & local artists items for sale.

I had the chicken enchilada combo with a side salad. Portion size was good, flavor outstanding. In other visits I have had the spinach quiche, the pastries and the coffee. Wonderful food, great service, family friendly and reasonable prices!
