One of my favorite restaurants. Their lentil soup and balloon lavash bread are simply the best, and the shepherd’s salad is always incredibly fresh.
The service makes the experience even better: Fadime is wonderful and always greets me by name. This time Selim took care of us, and he was equally attentive and professional.
We had the lahmacun, the meze platter, and the Adana kebab. Everything was absolutely delicious.
I strongly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely keep coming in the new year.

We came here for Sunday lunch. It seemed to be a new Turkish restaurant, very pretty inside with modern interior, beautiful arts and decors, and a small bar area. We got a table right away. The menu had a variety of dishes like appetizers, soups, gyro, kebabs, pasta, pizzas, seafood, wraps and sandwiches. In drinks section, they had the Turkish coffee and tea.

We started with their complementary bread, so fluffy and light, we pretty ate the whole thing before any of our dishes came. I ordered my favorite fried liver cubes from the hot apps section, and it was fantastic. It was full of flavor, perfectly sized cubes and properly fried. Tasted so good with the complimentary bread (we requested a second one). For entree we ordered the Mix Grill and Karisik Izgara as it was a perfectly sharable dish for two and we got to try 5 of their kebabs that are lamb shish, ground lamb, chicken shish, ground chicken and grilled meat patties. Both ground kebabs were excellent, full of flavors. The shish and patties were also good. We got the margarita pizza too, but that one was disappointed, seemed like some sauce was just thrown on top of the cheese and wasn’t baked long enough.

Our server was really friendly. She always stayed on top of things. Our dishes came out in quick time, it was impressive. Despite the shortcoming of the pizza, which is not usually a Turkish dish, I was thoroughly impressed by the actually Turkish dishes, like liver cubes and kebabs. I’ll for sure visit them again whenever I feel like having kebabs next time

You start off with their home made bread and house sauce complimentary when you first seated. We went on with lentil soup and cheddar cheese broccoli soup Delicious to say. We had Babagonoush and mix grill both are highly recommended and flavors are amazing.

A taste of Turkiye in New Jersey. I absolutely love this restaurant. As a Turkish American who has grown up here most of his life, I always search for ways to connect with my culture and enjoy my culture’s wonderful cuisine. There have been very limited places that have instilled in me the joy and experience of eating at Antioch. Every dish is served with a level of care and deep attention to detail. I recommend trying the Lahmacun and appetizer mixed platter.

Antioch Restaurant is an absolute local gem! From start to finish, the experience was flawless—warm and prompt hospitality, cozy ambiance with beautiful photos and scenes from Turkey, and food that’s unforgettable.

We started with the Fried Calamari—crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. The Avocado Salad and Antioch House Salad were fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. For mains, the Chicken Alfredo was creamy and rich, the Fettuccine & Salmon in Vodka Sauce was delicate yet decadent, and the NY Strip Steak was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Pairing everything with a smooth glass of Merlot was the perfect touch.

Desserts were showstoppers—the Warm Chocolate Brownie Cake with Ice Cream was indulgent and comforting (all time favorite warm brownie ever!!!) , the Kunefe was new to me and was crispy, cheesy, and sweet in the best way, and the Tartufo was a refreshing, elegant finish.

Every dish exceeded expectations. Eugene and his team go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and satisfied. Antioch is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and outstanding service. We can’t wait to return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came here for the first time and was absolutely not expecting the quality and freshness of the grilled meat and kebabs.
It tastes exactly the same as it would back home in Turkey it’s amazing.

I was absolutely famished and didn’t even stop to take a photo of the main course before devouring it — but trust me, the food here is delicious. The portions are generous, the service is immaculate, and the staff couldn’t be more hospitable. Everything was fast, smooth, and done right.

You’re greeted with a huge, fluffy, piping hot bread (careful, it really is hot!) that sets the tone. I ordered the Adana kebab, and it was fantastic — juicy, flavorful, and authentic. It came with rice, salad, grilled vegetables, and two sauces, making it a complete and satisfying meal. Truly great value.

The place itself is very nice inside, but I chose to sit outside and enjoy the sunny afternoon. Loved the experience, and I’ll definitely be back soon with more pictures — it won’t be long

Loved the place. Very chill spot. Food specially lamb adana kabab was fantastic. Complimentary fresh bread was amazing as well. And dont skip kunafe with Turkish coffee. The whole meal was great. Honestly food quantity was on the low side considering the prices.

Service was great as well, I will forsure go here again.

Went to this wonderful restaurant for a pre theatre dinner with a group of 8 . The service was outstanding from the moment we stepped in. Courteous and professional.
The food we ordered was mixed grilled platters, and the fried liver which was succulent and perfectly cooked . We also had several different accompaniments to suite our palette. The mix grill was grilled to perfection. Compliments to the chef.

The food arrived at the table piping hot and fast. The service was excellent as mentioned before which makes everything pair well especially when you have a time crunch.

The atmosphere was calm and serene with the ambient lighting
Creating a warm, welcoming and even glow throughout the space.

Definitely a must visit restaurant to savor some of the best Mediterranean cuisine in NJ . Shall be back for more.
