I consider Anthony’s a special treat and one of my favorite places to eat in the city. The food is always exquisitely done, especially the scallop appetizer. The wines list is very solid, with a range of prices that include all very smart selections. Service is always extremely attentive and friendly. Our server was so kind to us on this visit, and even gave us a piece of chocolate cake for my birthday. I also ordered the seasonal cheesecake, which was a toffee caramel cheesecake, and I cannot think of another dessert I’ve ever eaten that was better. It was divine! I looks forward to visiting again and again.

We finally went to Anthony’s here in Boise. I believe their rating should be a bit higher but it is what it is. We went for happy hour and the food was excellent. The bang bang shrimp was on point. The oysters were very fresh with the meat being detached which is a plus over other oyster bars. The calamari’s were super tender and had a nice crunch. Jasmine was our waitress and she was super in treating us very well. One of the best waitresses we have experienced here so far.

Wife and I went for early dinner 3 course option. We loved it all. Malikai was our server and he was the right amount of attentive. Food and wine was excellent. Wife said it was the best oysters she had ever eaten. We will be back

The prices have doubled but the food quality and service has declined. Made the mistake of ordering salmon (never order salmon in a restaurant, no one knows how to cook or season it) Ordered a salmon salad. Description is citrus glazed salmon salad that comes with avocado. What I was served was a completely dry, overcooked piece of salmon only half an inch thick, covered in some flavorless, sour tasting huckleberry concoction, no citrus glaze, no avocado. Please stop with the huckleberries. Huckleberries are not good. We understand that they grow here in abundance. Just stop. I did not and would not order a huckleberry dish. I sent it back. Look at the photo. It’s absolutely comical that this someone thinks this is a $36 salad. Now look at the photo of the $42 steak we ordered. A big strip of white leather gristle was running through the steak. But that wasn’t the problem. It was incredible chewy and nearly impossible to saw thru it to cut off a bite. It was also completely raw, (ordered medium rare ) We sent both dishes back. We refused the offer to remake them. We’re not paying these prices for this slop. In addition the service was incredibly slow even though the place was half empty at 730 on a Saturday night. This was our final visit to Anthony’s.

Phenomenal food and service! Probably the best calamari I’ve ever had and the whiskey caramel and sea salt cheesecake was heavenly. Dominik was our server and was amazing. Very personable as well. We are from the Chicago land area and I wish this restaurant was closer to home! Definitely recommend to anyone in this area, driving through or here on vacation!

The complementary bread is delicious , the chowder is some of the best we’ve had. We enjoyed all the appetizers, but were not thrilled with the Caesar salad, which is mostly lettuce for the price . We recommend the calamari and the trout jalapeño poppers. The service was phenomenal, and everybody was warm and welcoming. We’re excited to come back !

Came here for our anniversary. The service was great, and the drinks were good. Calamari was fantastic. Dessert was amazing! Tried the mussels for the first time, not a fan. The place is walking distance from other downtown attractions.

Had another amazing meal at Anthony’s tonight..Last minute decision. Had a little issue but our waiter and management make it right. Steaks were amazing as usual. Service by Josh outstanding, Salmon was delicious, appetizers great, desserts beautiful and tasty. Service is far superior to any other restaurants in the area, from what we have tried. Fourth time there in 3 months.

What an incredible experience this past Thursday evening. Cody and his Anthony’s Boise Team, in pertnership with Koenig Winerey, put on a fantastic winemaker’s dinner. The staff created an intimate evening of new friends being made the old fasioned way by simply providing good company, good food, good wine, and the right atmosphere. Food course and wine pairing presentations were made as to define why these combinations of food and wine work. This added to the feeling of being part of something very special. The staff members were curtious, professional, friendly, and their timing was impecible. The food and wine were both memorable, making this was one of the best wine paring dinners we have enjoyed.
For a wine pairing dinner, the price/value rating was very favorable and highly recommended.
