Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta had a humble beginning back in 1984 on a busy street corner in downtown Denver Colorado. Our pizza by the slice quickly became a local favorite with the lunch crowd, and the rest was history. For over 35 years Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta has grown to serve our original pizza recipe across the front range. With simple, high-quality ingredients, we serve hand-crafted pizza, made from scratch daily. Choose from fresh toppings to customize your pizza, and while you’re here, enjoy crisp made-to-order salads, hot hero sandwiches, classic Italian pasta dishes, or even a mouth-watering appetizer or dessert. Order online for delivery and carryout or come dine-in with us and find out why we’re known as the OG of Colorado pizza.
Local counter-serve chain that’s a take-out/delivery staple for NY-style pies & other Italian eats.

Reviews
First, to describe the place: pretty small (8 tables) building, but has a full bar, an openly visible (clean) kitchen, and all tables/floor/counters were tidy and clean.
Second, the food was good. Not amazing, but I don’t think it’s really fair to review a place on their pizza-by-the-slice, which is what I had. I ordered 2 slices, they came out pretty quickly, and were good. They were very large (1/8 of a 22″ pizza), the crust was light and a little crunchy, and the piece that I added toppings to was loaded. The cheese garlic bread was VERY good (suggested by the staff – and was available in a single portion size).
Third, the staff was extraordinary. One guy was manning the front and taking orders. He was very polite and helpful, gave good suggestions, AND: although this is clearly an “order/pay at the front” type of place, he did that while doing a full service table-side order at one table with a couple of high-maintenance-type ladies AND bringing out food to all tables AND bussing all of the tables! He also checked in with me, several times, to make sure I was doing ok. (Owners: I don’t have his name, but I’m sure you know who this guy is – you’ve got something extremely rare, there! I would steal him away from you and have him work for me!)
Lastly, the price was extremely reasonable: I paid under $16 (including tax) for an appetizer, 2 giant slices of pizza (one, of which, I added 3 toppings), and a drink. No question that the value was very high, here.
All in all, a very good experience. I’ll definitely be back to try a full pizza and some other things.
Before I ordered a whole pizza for my family I thought I would come scope the place out first. They sell by the slice and I wondered why 1 slice of Sicilian is $5… And $30 for a whole pie! After getting my slice the price made more sense. It’s big, I’d say 9″x5″ (that’s a 9″ plate in the pic). They confirmed that’s the size of the slices when you get a whole or half pie. The Sicilian was good (I’d do extra sauce next time) but ended up going with a large margarita to take home.
They have a true “large” pizza. I messed up and forgot to order a small to go with it (we have family visiting). To my surprise one pie fed 3 kids and 4 adults. Pretty comfortably. I’d order 1 more small for that many people next time, luckily everyone was happy.
Really good classic NY style pizza. Great ranch dressing too!! This one’s on my short list now.
I hope they keep up the same level of quality and service.
Go in, try 1 slice (and a beer) like I did. You’ll leave with a whole pizza.
Edit 2021: Since they’ve reopened, not the same. Ruined. Very sad to see.
They had people filing in to pick up pizzas. One guy RAVED about it. That guy was so right!
Liz was buzzing around taking care of everything and everyone.
It’s a super clean space. Also the restroom was super clean.
I’d say this is the best pizza in the Springs.
