Anthony’s New York Pizzeria in Greer is the real deal. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful, and the service was outstanding from start to finish.
They were running a two-slice and a drink special, which is an unbelievable value. I had the Margherita slice and the Grandma slice, and both were excellent. The crust was absolutely perfect — cooked just right with that ideal balance of crisp on the outside and soft, chewy texture inside. You can immediately tell they know how to make true New York–style pizza.
The Margherita slice really stood out — the seasoning and tomatoes were incredible, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every bite was packed with taste without being overwhelming.
I also tried their shrimp scampi which was amazing, and the meal came with a garlic roll that was fresh and delicious. The Jamaican beef patty had great flavor as well — I just personally wish it had a little more spice, but that’s purely a preference and not a knock on quality.
All of this for around $23 is just unbelievable considering the portion size, food quality, and top-notch service.
If you’re in Greer and want authentic New York–style pizza with great people and great value, this place is a must-stop. I’ll definitely be back.

I follow many Facebook foodie pages and Anthony’s is one of the top choices for a lot of pizza posts. The hype is there. The pizza was perfectly cooked, crispy, and flavorful. The [fresh] garlic knots were great, and the chicken parm plate was HUGE. Could easily feed two people and then some probably. While it’s not a typical restaurant style, there is plenty seating available. You do place your order up at the counter. The service was great and we were attended politely. Definitely see why Anthony’s is at the top of a lot of people’s lists.

Pictured is the chicken parm, great flavor and quality especially for $14 or if you get the lunch special it’s like $8-$9 which is unheard of. The chicken is perfectly breaded, the sauce is incredible and I loved that there was fresh basil on top!
I think got the chicken cutlet sandwich and added bacon and onions. It was so good, I wish there was a little more chicken to the bread ratio but it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had.
We also ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, that was ridiculously good, loved the type of pepperoni they use!
Last but not least we also ordered the baked ziti which was wonderful and cheesy! My husband said he would add a chicken cutlet next time (that’s how good their chicken cutlets are).
Their garlic knots are out of this world.
Very happy with our multiples meals and we can wait to have them again!

Order “The Emily” for us and a cheese pizza for the kids today! We paid $39 and some change. These pizzas are HUGE and so full of flavor and worth the money! We absolutely LOVE Anthony’s! It’s our favorite pizza place in Greer. Tastes very authentic and fresh! It’s always been a great experience.

This is easily my favorite place to get pizza locally. You can taste the quality and effort put into every slice. A lot of their desserts are homemade and I haven’t had one I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. The tree leche cake is especially good. The staff has always been so friendly, welcoming, and kind. Thankful to have Anthony’s close to my home!

My husband and I stopped in on Saturday for lunch. The pizza slices are huge and delicious. He got cheese and pepperoni while I got chicken alfredo pasta pizza. We started eating the deliciousness before I realized I forgot to get a better pic. Staff was nice. Tea was great southern sweet tea. We will return if we are in the area another day.

Really good pepperoni calzone. We paid for ranch & extra marinara, but didn’t get them. Oreo cake tasted unlike Oreo. Mozzarella sticks were okay. Pasta looked great & others said it was good, but needed more sauce. UPDATE: Spaghetti has great taste, but even ordering extra sauce, still NOT ENOUGH SAUCE, but portion size is huge! Got extra ricotta like ordered on calzone, & it was yummy again.❤️ Garden salad was also large in size.

I am a Pizza snob and have had pizza from Maine to Key West. I am extremely picky when it comes to ingredients, crust, sauce and flavor. My wife discovered Anthony’s New York Pizza online and was eager to check it out. Upon entering this place, it was extremely clean, and organized. No trash sitting on tables or under them. The menu is clear and they carry a huge variety of dishes. I loved seeing the “one slice” option as that is the staple NY way of eating a pie. We ordered the Garlic Knots (with fresh garlic, olive oil and basil drizzled) they were killer. Crisp on the outside steamy soft on the inside and the marinara that came with it was so fresh, slightly acidic and flavorful. So far I’m impressed. My wife wanted to try a slice of the Margarita pizza. This was a very generous slice and the toppings were absolutely perfect. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, which I usually go for plain cheese for a first visit. That will come next time. Anyways, this pizza was the size of most larges. They used the smaller cupped pepperoni, which create these pockets of flavor in every bite. The sauce is handmade and you can tell Anthony took his time making it, it has the right amount of all the flavors that make a perfect “Granmas recipe” kinda sauce. Needless to say, This place is one of my favorite new joints. Do not pass it up. Thank you Anthony and family for such a good treat. We look forward to your homemade pasta dishes next time ! I can tell you use quality ingredients and take pride in your dishes! When I was leaving i told Anthony i loved it, that i didnt have to put anything on my pie(garlic, parm, oregano, peppers.) Highly recommend Anothys NY Pizza! Just moved from Florida and have tried place all over. This is the best authentic pizza and wings I’ve had. I’ve been to NY plenty in my life and definitely feels like grabbing a slice in the city! Customer service is perfect and welcoming.
