We ordered off Tuesday menu. We did happy hours, ordered crispy calamari and steamed Manila clams. Calamari and clams tasted fresh. For dinner, we ordered fish but don’t like the one with the white sauce. The blacken one was better, it has more favor. The mango salad was good but needed more of that. The warm bread basket was yummy with butter. We did seasonal dessert, it was biscuit not pie crest. It was still good crispy outside and hot inside. Service was good and the view was excellent. Watching the sunset.

Great restaurant with fresh seafood and beautiful views of the marina. The sourdough bread was a treat. I got the Budd’s Ahi Stack – nice, fresh, ahi tuna! Anthony’s Clam chowder had lots of clams and potatoes – very good. My husband got the Halibut which he enjoyed.

I was really excited coming here for my 30th birthday! I made reservations a week or so in advance. I came from Minnesota for a trip to hike Olympic National Park.

We are from SF, and were looking for a waterfront restaurant on our last night. This place was great, a mix of upscale and down to earth. The views are stunning. Their food is divine. Between the two of us we got the crab, Artichoke dip, chowder and it was all phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend and I rarely write reviews!

Lunch at Anthony’s was a dream. We sat outside overlooking the water. I ordered the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and the halibut fish and chips. My friend ordered the salmon salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend checking this restaurant out if you’re in the area or coming from out of town.

This was such a pleasant surprise. We drove all over Des Moines‘s looking for the perfect place to spend the first sunny afternoon in a gloomy spring. We needed a deck that had views, and it was going to be in the sun until sunset. Our criteria also included the need for a full bar and snacks at an affordable price. We didn’t go to Anthony’s homeport first because we assumed it was going to be pricey or stuffy. Well, the food was “pricey” but not really for a steakhouse. The drinks were priced super low, I’m talking nine dollar cocktails! We haven’t seen drinks this inexpensive in quite some time. We ordered some food and although they don’t have a menu that I would say it was an appetizer friendly menu per se, we were able to find one delicious option in the ahi nachos, and my husband downed the free bread that came with our appetizer. The views were amazing, totally fit the brief. There is a huge deck right in the sun (there are no umbrellas or awnings). You can see out over the Des Moines’s Harbor and
