Fresh, Flavorful, and Fantastic Service!
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is an absolutely magnificent place to enjoy a delicious meal. The pizza was incredibly fresh, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. I had a pizza topped with pepperoni and arugula — it was nothing short of amazing. My wife ordered the baked ziti, and she loved every bite of it!
The service was top-notch. I believe our server’s name was Julia (not 100% sure), but whoever she was — she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed the entire time.
Everything from the atmosphere to the food to the service was on point. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for bold flavors and great hospitality!

Pizza was disappointing, good toppings, especially the sausage, but the crust was tasteless and didn’t taste fresh. White pizza had very little ricotta and no garlic — tasty but not a white pizza in my opinion. Salad was fine, lettuce could have been fresher and toppings were a bit sparse. Service was really excellent and the atmosphere is warm and not too loud.

This was my first time trying this restaurant. Everything was great except when the bill came. The price of my gluten-free pizza was $32. On the menu it states that there’s a five dollar upgrade for gluten-free pizza and when you go online to order a pizza it’s listed as $20.99.

Ordered takeout from this place it was AWFUL! Cold, small portions, pizza thin as a crepe, and the quality of cafeteria food. All for $70. I rarely leave a review but I feel genuinely ripped off. I should have lit the money on fire instead, at least that would have been warm.

Wanted a little more “coal” taste personally but for chain pizza, not a bad slice if you’re searching and decent beer/bar selection. Oh, and the Spicy Paulie pie was the bomb of good sweet heat… mmmm

A friend of mine has to take care of a purchase at a car dealership in the area and it took way longer then any of us anticipated. We were in there over 3 hours and when we left out no one was against finding lunch. We saw the sign for Anthony’s and knowing that coal fired pizza is the best we decided to stop in. We were immediately seated and our hostess Camren or Camrin was all about it. She brought my coffee hot in a nice glass mug and my friends said that their drinks were cold and refreshing. We started with a salad that was fresh and crunchy. Their house dressing was yummy also. The we had a margarita pizza with extra cheese and it was hot and yummy also. The place was clean as was the kitchen area and the area around the oven. People were eating inside and a few groups were eating outside and enjoying the sun. I like this place and will stop by whenever I’m in the area again. #kingofmarijuananyc #kingofcoffeenyc #pizza #ramseynj #mahwanj #googlemaps #sankofatafari

Had an OK time here. The waiter and manager of the joint were extremely kind to us. The music was great. We came in on Saturday night around 745pm. None of what I’m saying would deter us from coming again but with that being said… Out of 13 tables, 5 were occupied. We (party or 5) ordered a glass of wine, 20 wings, 2 small salads, a meatball sub and 1 large cauliflower pizza. The waiter brought 2 glasses of wine (didn’t charge for 2nd). The pizza we ordered was VERY salty so we sent it back and got the caprese pizza. The bill came at the end of the night and there were multiple items we didn’t order on it. He took it back to fix but it still had an item that wasn’t supposed to be on there.
