This is our third time here. The place has a cozy atmosphere and the staff are very attentive. Robust wine and cocktail menu. Very simple menu that doesn’t inundate the person with too many choices. Blackened cod was absolutely delicious. It was cooked to perfection.

The most delicious and delectable seafood and steaks in Bend. The lobster and scallops were cooked oh so perfectly! The steak is melt in your mouth good, the portion was smaller because it was from the Sunday night Steak and Scallop Special an excellent value. Only 3 scallops but the best I have ever had. Lobster can be added a la carte for $50 and is 11 ounces. Highly recommended. The clam chowder is the best anywhere. The table sourdough bread is made in house and is wonderful. Adding to the experience is the romantic and relaxing indoor seating with views of the river walk and the river. Perfect food and perfect location. The pricing is moderately priced expensive but all food is of the highest quality. Service was slow at times but very, very friendly and accommodating. It was worth the time to enjoy the best of foods available in this area. Overall a great and satisfying experience!

Anthony’s has a beautiful setting of sophistication right on the Deschutes River. They provide indoor and outdoor seating (we chose for indoor seating). Our server was attentive, kind and cared about her tables and the people.
Only complaint: ordered the Prawn Tempura on the menu states it comes with fries and “onion rings”, when our food arrived it was disappointing to only get ONE onion ring when the menu clearly states “rings” meaning more than one. When asked our server about it she stated “oh yeah they only give just one onion ring.” This is false advertising and absolutely needs to be changed on the menu or start serving more than just one onion ring when your customers expect when ordering Prawn Tempura that they are getting more than one onion ring!!
Everything else was yummy delicious and I would recommend Anthony’s ✨️8/10✨️

The waitress was polite and greeted us with menus. We did not hit the restaurant during busy hrs so service was good, food was good and we left happy customers for a first time experience.

Delightful evening meal outside on the patio in mid June. My husband delighted in the dungeness crab dinner, I had a delicious copper river salmon plate, and our friend had the seafood fettuccine. It was all absolutely delicious! Our server was wonderful and attentive, the atmosphere was heavenly, and we had a great time.

We came in the other evening to celebrate my engagement… something I was REALLY excited about. while the food itself was amazing and i felt like it was the dinner of my dreams, i unfortunately the service fell very short.

We had a 3:45 PM reservation for 10 people, including young children, and from the start the service was slow and inattentive. Drinks took a long time to arrive, and our server didn’t take our food order until we had already been there for OVER AND HOUR!! which is especially difficult when dining with kids.

I’ve worked in the restaurant industry my entire life, so I’m usually very patient and understanding. We truly tried to give grace and didn’t complain, but this went well beyond a busy shift or minor delays.

For a group of 10, we were very low-key and easygoing — not loud or demanding — yet it felt like we were consistently overlooked. We rarely saw our server and had to wave down other servers just to get basic service like refills or assistance.

To be clear, the food was excellent — well prepared and delicious — which honestly made the service issues even more frustrating because the kitchen clearly delivered.

What was especially disappointing was that nothing at all was done to acknowledge the engagement — no congratulations, no small gesture — despite that being the reason for our gathering.

We spent around $700 and left feeling let down. The food lived up to expectations, but the service did not, and for a special occasion, that really matters.

This is my 6th and last time coming in here. I am a single female senior citizen and each time I come in for lunch I am asked if sitting in the bar is okay and each time I say no as I do not want to sit in the bar. Then I am told they have to check with their servers. Then I am told it will be 10 to 15 minutes. Twice it has been 25 minutes and I left. And each time I looked and the restaurant is not full far from it at 1130 on a week day.
I am from Seattle and really do love coming to Anthony’s in Bend but no more.
The servers who have waited on me have been great but the issue at the front desk —well I can well spend my money elsewhere and I will.
I will still go to Anthony’s in the Seattle area but not in Bend OR.
It really feels a bit discriminatory toward older single women.

Nothing quite beats the outdoor seating here along the river especially if theirs a good concert playing where you can steal a listen while enjoying your meal. Service is excellent. Some very kind people on the payroll and of course the food is top notch. There hasn’t been a dish that we haven’t been overly impressed with. It’s worth it to treat yourself, so why wait? I suggest a reservation. Come and enjoy an amazing meal.
